The hotel and the rooms were good, but it's located in a small street and there's no board of the hotel or any way to identify that it is hotel aarya except for google maps. We landed in lucknow around 7. 30am and requested for an early check-in as we had elderly people and kids in our group, but the manager refused at first, even though rooms were free and it was a weekday; he finally allowed us after taking an "early check-in" charge of 500rs. During our entire stay which was just a couple hours in the morning and the night, either the manager was calling or sending someone to ask us to keep our toddlers quiet, since the noise was reaching him from our room on the first floor. The food was good but they messed up or ignored our orders one or two times. When we left our rooms half hour after the usual checkout time of 11am, he was demanding for a late check-out fee! after checkout while we were waiting in the reception area for our transport, the manager kept giving our group dirty looks and muttering to himself, loud enough for us to hear. We requested to leave our bags in the hotel after checkout as we had a night flight and didn't want to lug around all our luggage, a courtesy that any other hotel would happily agree to, but this manager at first refused, then asked for 400rs for this, and then finally told us to dump our luggage under the stairs. Overall i still think the hotel was good, and it's just 1km walk from ambedkar memorial, but the manager ruined the stay for us.
