We had booked Honey Bee Resort . However, before our arrival, the owner contacted us and offered a private property at the same rate. Assuming it would be of good quality, especially since we were traveling with our pet, we agreed. He asked us to check in at 11:30 AM.
However, when we arrived on time, we found the private house in a terrible condition—it was unclean, the water was dirty, the rooms were covered in cobwebs, and there were cockroaches everywhere. The water was so contaminated that it even had small bird feathers in it, making it impossible to brush our teeth. The entire experience was extremely disappointing.
We raised our concerns about the water with the owner, but no solution was provided. The caretaker then informed us that Honey Bee Resort was under maintenance. If that was the case, how was the property still listed?
