Review Of Gulshan Heritage Cottage (Deluxe Room)

The photo shown while booking and actual room are totally different.

1. Not seen as per pics in shown. 2. Very bad rooms not as per pics 3. Not hygiene roos and bathroom 4. Hot water is not available at rooms its one person one backet only one time in morning 5. Fan make horrible sound 6. Beading was very pathetic damage bad also bed bugs bite hole night. 7. Other room crowd was very mannerless. Sing song loudly and crawling till midnight. It's disturbing can't sleep whole night. 8. Staff is very much rude.

We found that 15-20 highly alcohol drunk persons abusing each others, songs sing by them in loud voice can be heard away from 2-3 properties. Rooms are so old, having foul smell, bedsheets so dirty, toilets so much dirty. No other family stayed, hotel environment not at all good for family, we ask caretaker why they accept booking if they allotted others room for batchelor group, they don't have explanation. If hotel rules it is written that alcohol not allowed, bachelors not allowed, personal event celebration not allowed, then how hotel allotted rooms to batchelor group with alcohol? it is very unfair that when we asked hotel caretaker for refund they told us make my trip name.

Worst experience i faced during stay

No safety protocols followed, powercuts, no water inlets, no value for money, old house with a furniture that could fall down any time, no cleanliness was there

It was very bad experience, no TV and no AC provided. Room was not clean and toiletries were not provided. I was very disappointed with my decision to book this hotel. So will not recommend this to anyone.

Stay was not good at all, such a bad property, no cleanliness was there and bad service. I was so disappointed that I left one day early.

Gulshan heritage cottage Matheran is a good. We traveled from Neral to Matheran in toy train and reached by 11 am. Then we stayed in cottage, the staff people of cottage were helpful we asked them about some good points to visit in Matheran, they helped us with few very good points to visit to in our short visit. Overall a good cottage.

The cottage was easy to locate and I had been here with my friends. The internal and external appearance of the cottage was average. The staff members in the cottage were good in services. The room allotted to me was average with fewer amenities and poor maintenance. There was delay in checking procedures. There were no activities or games in the cottage. Overall the destination of the cottage was good.
