AMMUS Homestay

Terrible experience. The room is too small for 2 people. The glasses of one of the room window is shattered and the bathroom window is also held together by a tie. There is a tv which doesn't work. No dustbin inside the room. No water bottles were provided either. No wifi connection. One of the roads which lead to the homestay is also very dirty and has trash all over. Not worth it for the amount i paid.

1. First of all home stay location is not as per gps map. 2. No drinking water/ food tea nothing is available. 3. There is no ac/ fan or proper ventilation in the room. 4. The beds don't have any mattress. 5. Room is not spacious with lack of furniture.

Stay was pretty good, location is very good as it is very near the main market. Caretaker's behaviour is good.

Hospitality was an awesome experience, comfortable stay, accessible approach, all amenities available, seamless check in and check out, nice atmosphere, caretaker was fabulous.

Good: location is near mall road. Bad: the rooms are small. Not suitable for a family. No balcony in any of the rooms. No room service. Geyser wasn't working properly. Technician came in the evening to fix it. We got no help from the homestay to carry the luggage. We had to carry them by ourselves. The price is higher than the facilities. Its only good for bachelors.

Please mind that it's a homestay, and not a hotel. You cannot expect all the amenities provided by a hotel. Pros: the room is very neat and clean. Running water, and water heater are available round the clock. Bed is comfortable. Pillows and blankets are clean. The bed can accommodate 2 persons at most. Toilet is clean. The host rajesh ji is very caring, and cooperative. Cons: a bit far from the mall. It's located on the back side of the hotel elgin. You have to walk 500 meters downhill from the mall, or 200 meters downhill from the hotel elgin to reach the homestay.
