Whispering Woods

Our room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and incredibly cozy. Great view from our rooms. There is electric transformer inside the property which spoil some rooms view. Looks like kitchen area needs to have more ventilation and clean.

overall a good experience. The property is in a very nice location they were understaffed to handle crowds so food service was a bit delayed. also they did not provide at least 1 towel to each room, which is a basic service

The maintenence was pathetic, there were snail every where. The rooms was smelling like hell. The food was okay, but the morning breakfast was full mess. people were standing for plates to take food. The restaurant was washing giving one by one dishes and all different type of dishes. snails all over washrooms, asked to remove again apeared 8 snails in morning. was discussed so much

The wooden cottage was average and overpriced. However on complaining we were given the deluxe room which was again a little above average. The staff response was good but the stay was overpriced. The food was below average and we even suffered food poisoning after having their Dal Kichidi. Overall a below average experience.

Stay was amazing, The staff are so friendly. Definitely worth it we went with our 1 year old, they helped with baby food when requested and also decorated the space for birthday celebration. It is more than one can ask for. I would recommend this stay for any one going to coorg.

The whole experience was smooth with no wait and on time service. Breakfast is so good that you can skip a lunch on that. Cottage are properly maintained and clean environment with soothing nature.

Good place for family highly recommended

The location is good with greenary. But the hygeine is not that great. Even the reception area i could see waste dumped just outside the common washroom. Used cloths, rags vaccum cleaner just lying around.

Our stay at whispering woods was one of the best vacations i have had in a long time. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Shravan is available at your service 24x7. The food is good, cottages are spacious and clean. Highly recommended!

I did not had much expectation,

The property does not have basic facility for providing food. Tv was not recharged. Complimentary break fast was having limited choice. Even egg omelette was chargeable.

Quantity is very less not even sufficient for the price and portion what they charged

Location is good and peaceful but the service was terrible. There was just one person who was looking after the check in, he was the guard, he was the cleaning staff and also the waiter that's why he was never available when you needed any help. No call bell or extension phone to contact the reception so every-time we needed something we had to walk to the reception/kitchen. Breakfast was not good at all with just 2 options. We paid 14k for 2 days for 2 cottages but it was truly not worth even for a single penny.

We stayed for one at this property. Poor facilities were there. No proper wifi network. Hotel was filled with insects everywhere. They could not even provide cold drinks and ice. No luggage was kept on our rooms (2nd floor. Disappointed.

Location if this resort is outside madikeri, but surrounded by coffee plantation. Bit far from tourist places, but it's recommended if you have private vehicle. When we had visited, there was power issue, but staffs were very friendly, they got it right over night. Chef and manager provided great service. Enjoyed the stay overall.
