Room is good, washroom also good

Very helpful staff. Rooms are very hygiene and well maintained. Walkable distance to temple.

Extremely disappointed with the hotel. (VR Palace) location is ok, but the booking for the room that we did on MMT was denied. We had booked 2 double bed with sofa. After lot of talk, the owner came and refused to talk in english and said talk telugu. I said i do not know telugu, but still... We showed him our booking & he said this is suite & you will not get this. You will get only deluxe room. We refused. Very rude man. Made dirty faces and again said no room. Then he called his son on phone and this man crossed all limits. He fought, argued, not listening to what we had to say. He said people come and quietly take the room, why are you making a fuss. We said we will take shat we saw and booked. We did say that maybe it’s a mistake by MMT. But no. The owner & son do not deserve to be in the hospitality business. Ultimately he gave us the room, but without the river view, on which we had done our booking in the first place. Suite that they were talking about was very shabby with dirt all over, insects in the toilet. Damp walls. I strongly suggest everyone who wants to go there, book any hotel but avoid this hotel. They have no service, no food, nothing. Horrible experience.
