It was a short road trip from kolkata to simlipal with my wife. The location is right beside the national highway. One need to stop his google map and follow the signboard to reach the resort. From kolkata, it's the opposite side of the highway. Need to enter the left side service lane beside the bangriposhi flyover. Then cross the flyover through the underpass and turn left via service lane - the resort is bang on the right side of yours. Property is apperantly neat, rooms and linens were clean (pl don't look in the bedside corners adjoining the wall. Ac is good. There are some electricity issues in the area which is backed up by battery and solar power. Better one need to travel here at winter or rainy season to avert the high temp. The bathroom fittings are needed some good cleaning (stain marked) and i must say that the commode shower is operated by a knob instead of the spring trigger - a bit awkward as it will keep on spraying water even if you need it to be paused for a while. The geysure shower taps - all are working fine however bathroom door bottom inside is worn out and needs attention. You will get a quiet serene atmosphere here with good quality food of various cuisine - the price is at per (mineral water is not complimentary here) water rs. 20 per 1 ltr bottle, mutton homestyle curry rs. 300, chicken (desi murgi) homestyle curry rs. 250, mixed veg rs. 150, rice rs. 60, egg curry rs. 80. Musur dal rs. 60, fine aloobhaja rs. 80, chicken fried rice rs. 150, chilly chicken rs. 180, egg roll rs. 50- (to name a few. The atmosphere inside the resort was quite safe however wifi gave us a lot of trouble and we could not access it actuallty and at the same time the vodafone network does not have proper coverage here - however air-tel was working fine.
