Review Of Silent Valley Resort

The stay was good, there were plenty of rooms available but Make my trip app shown that the hotel is full and later released few rooms for the double charge what hotel was charging directly, it's very bad experience with MMT. This is how you are looting our hard earned money

Facilities are not up to the mark, considering the prices. The rooms are too small in size with minimum amenities despite being of "villa" class. The senary is good outside the rooms, and the greenery is well maintained. Food is good, but coffee is not up to the mark. I dont have photos

Food is good, staffs are friendly, resort is easy to find, there are lot of other things that needs improvement and maintenance, such as indoor games, pool, cottages. Overall a good experience for one day stay.

we reached silent valley resort on 30th afternoon 3pm (checkin was supposed to be at 12pm) here are what we went through . the room allotted was v9 room was not ready and we were asked to wait meanwhile the reception folks were having some altercation with another group of customers we were then allotted a room let me describe you the room was it is very shady , dirty linen and stained pillows marks on wall tv wasn’t working ac was not working when questioned the answer first was yours is non ac room then they said we don’t need ac here the rooms have windows without grills or mesh . so very unsafe to keep it open the fan was very noisy when complained they didn’t pay heed we didn’t even have a mineral water bottle kept in the room please note i have paid and i regret big time. please note i paid without food for this crappy room . there was no internet , no phone network . till 1am we couldn’t sleep as there was too much noise by other room and nothing was done .. the pool was so dirty , the water had turned green

It's a beautiful place amid-st nature. Rooms and food at the resort are of average quality and there is no network coverage or wifi in the rooms. But it's worth spending time outside the rooms amid-st the greenery.

Blissful and relaxing stay. The nature calls your attention and you can’t ignore that. The location is perfect. The place is strategically close to many beautiful drives with wildlife and coffee and tea estates nestled between are-ca plantations. The staff the very attentive and friendly.

On request got rooms near the reception n dining area. Also friendly and care taking staff. Good renovated rooms, hot water available at specific intervals. Not much complaints on food n hygiene. Overall nice happy experience.

No proper basic facilities at resort and no response from the staff.

I traveled with extended family and booked 3 cottages thru make my trip. The property had good facilities and nice view. But their post covid preparedness was very low. There was no temprature check on sanitization of luggages/people which we have experienced in other properties post covid. The rooms were clean but pool was no maintained well. Even once of the cottage/villa that we got had dirty water coming. I think the overhead tank was not clean. But the staff was courteous and arrnaged alternate room for bath, etc. But the preparedness could have been better rather than scrambing for alternate facility after we were there.

Please avoid it’s is very average resort, nothing is managed well apart from the location, nothing is good. Only saving grace good service by naveen.

They postponed our stay by one day on our request. On arrival, l was pleasantly surprised to know that I was upgraded to villa. Mr Dayanand was very helpful in planning spa our stay pleasant. Facility is well maintained considering it surrounded by forrest. Food was decent and tasty. Staff were accommodating. I would definitely recommend them.

Enjoyed the stay with very nice location, nice food, nice staff, good play ground. Need to have more attention on swimming pool

Noisy place with loud music played whole night. Charged extra per day. I was made to pay for breakfast. Not good for family members stay. Too much of lizards and lizard dropping.

1. Hotel has to put up this info. No mobile signals other than Bsnl and Jio will work in that area/place. 2. No intercom facility in rooms. 3. Old TV and not LCD and led. 4. TV is paid service. 5. Food is mediocre at a unjustifiable cost. 6. Menu is very average and limited.

We went during inclement weather with many landslides in the area. The staff was very helpful in making our stay comfortable and guided us in making the most in adverse weather conditions. They even voluntarily upgraded our stay package. All days they provided us sumptuous meals with fish, chicken, sweets, etc.

Poor food, ambiance, service. filthy rooms. Suggestion to rename it noisy Resort and recommend MakeMyTrip to delete it. Found glass pieces also on the cottage floor, got hurt, informed the manager but no one bothered to visit the room and have it cleaned.

We mainly were looking for rafting, the Bhadra River rafting is just around 40 m from this Resort so we ended up picking this place. Its located in a calm area. All you can hear is the birds chirping in the early morning. The food is very simple and has a homely taste to it. Their hospitality is good, the staff is very accommodate and polite which gives a warm feeling. No strict rules and regulations here which gives a free relaxed environment.

We stayed as a family of 4 at Silent Valley Resort, Chikmagalur. The Resort is well maintained, though parts of it are under renovation. The villas are spacious and well ventilated. Special kudos to the chef, food prepared in authentic malnad style is absolutely delicious. I recommend this stay to travelers in horanadu area.

Hotel doesn't deserve charge which I gave for a night.

Everything poor. No mobile network in the entire resort and WiFi works only in reception. Less of staff so you need to walk to reception for everything as mobile don't work and no phones in the room. You raw disconnected from outside world. This place is worst.
