The Spectrum Resort - Chikmagalur

not according to level, bathroom smells, while dinner no waiter in service. no guidance / information for sightseeing

We had a very pleasant stay at Spectrum.Sushant, Manager, was very accommodating with our request for change of room. The location and landscaping of garden was excellent except for the narrow pathway from the road up to the resort. Food buffet choices were vast catering to various preferences. The staff were courteous and well mannered. Room maintenance was good. Well organised management team. Would highly recommend this resort as one feels like a home away from home.

The stay was really good, and the staff was very polite. The best thing about this resort is its location, surrounded by a beautiful forest. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The only issue I faced was with the internet, but it can easily be overlooked when the environment is this delightful ❤️❤️❤️

Location was good, Rooms were ok, food was really good. Staffs were friendly.

wifi is not upto the mark, hot water in the toilet was not consistent, when we first reached the tv modem was not working and asked to change so many times..after so many calls they've changed it next day morning.location is good.food is ok

My stay was good here. We had wonderful time... the staff was obliging.... but, yes there is a but - the restaurant refused to serve a teaspoon of ghee to my son when we asked for the second time (who is 3 years by the way). The reason was they were out of ghee. I know this sounds silly, but my son has a practice to eat some ghee with dosa or idli. Sometimes a small issue makes the whole experience bad!

in the heart of nature that was an owsm stay , food was good pool was clean , I didn't feel like leaving the place , but yes had to , will visit again

Property was good but the service could be way better. Unless we followed up 3-4 times, nothing came not even water

Except that staffs were courteous, all other aspects are very very poor. Worth only 50% of actual money spent for the stay.

I have been for 2 days stay with family and this resort don’t disappoint anyone one of us either in ambience nor in value for money

Amazing resort. Buffet food was excellent, but alcarte price was high. Swimming pool was too good. Peace and calm resort. Road to resort was bummy.

Spectrum Resort is a green and well-maintained property with a peaceful ambiance. The staff is always smiling, courteous, and very caring. They were especially sweet and attentive towards my elderly parents, ensuring their comfort throughout. A special mention to one of the managers who went out of his way to pick up medicines for my mother—such kindness is truly appreciated. The food was great, and they even had a live counter for breakfast and hi-tea, which was a nice touch. The place is kept very clean, and the pool is well-maintained, making the stay even more enjoyable. Good job, team! Keep up the great work, enjoy what you do, and thank you for a wonderful stay!

Resort is good and located in nice location if you want to relax then this is the great place. Food quality is great and amenities also good. Service wise also good and all the staff is very friendly.

The resort was exceptionally well-maintained, offering a family-friendly environment that made our stay truly enjoyable. Good location good breakfast with live dosa counter. Dinner was good with 3 to 4 varieties of veg & non-veg dishes spacious & clean rooms supportive staff well maintained property with almost all facilities. Very weak wifi facility. No phone network. Hot water issue. Although they have mentioned 24 hrs hot water in the bathroom, but it’s not true. We stayed for two days and both the days they have supplied hot water in the buckets. This must improve.

I stayed there between 28 - 30th december 2024. Though resort’s location is good and surrounded with coffee plantation, it is located just after the chikmagalur city, so very hot during day times even in peak of winter. Most of the sight seeing place is 20+ km from the resort. Rooms were comfortable but had issues like tap running out of water in the early morning which they fixed after contacting them. Not expected from a resort who charges premium price. They provide tap filled water in the room where 2 bottle of complementary mineral water daily is very common even in much cheaper hotels now a days. Food was good and tasty and also the looks and feel of the resort is very good. Swimming pool was well maintained. They also had some indoor games which was well maintained. Overall i can say it is a good stay but didn’t find it worthy of the price i paid.
