Review Of Prakash Hotel

Prakash Hotel, the only pro was it was close to the temple. Cons: 1. There is no parking nor an official road to drive to. We have to negotiate with the locals to get the car to the entrance for unloading & loading luggage. 2. The rooms & overall building maintenance is in a bad shape. 3. No towels were provided. The blankets were extremely soiled. The floors were swept or moped for ages. 4. The owner and the bell boy are deaf & dumb, though they are friendly, they don't answer the calls. The person at the desk (Mutthu) is friendly and gives some info. But the other person during the nightshift just avoids providing any help. 5. The room was full of mosquitoes and they didn't agree to provide a repellent. We had to buy one ourselves 6. There is no intercom or lift, the owner doesn't answer the phone as mentioned earlier, we have to walk down everytime we need anything like the AC or water Heater to be switched on. Overall it was an experience that we would like to forget. MMT should do some physical checks before listing places on the site.

After arriving at the hotel , our ac was not working.then we asked for ac,hotel staff has decided and told pay extra 600 per room, total 1800 rs for ac. we were with small kids and there was so 🥵 humid.but after so many requests they has not given us. after call to mmt staff they were agreed for ac but again they were demanding for money. finally we have paid due to small kids. very bad experience in this hotel.staff was very rude. even for money next day they were stoping for clearing to his owner that we have paid or not... force fully they were stoping us. they told to check out 10 pm otherwise they will charge extra

The experience is very good. They are trying their best to keep the place clean. Most of the staffs only understand Tamil. Mutthu, one of the staffs knows little Hindi & English. The location is brilliant. Both the West gate & South gate are nearby. All the restaurants and tea shops are in the vicinity. No shaving mirror was there, even they couldn't arrange the same.

We checked into hotel on 19th as per our booking and hotel management allotted us a room with ac in it and we thought its a complimentary upgrade and while at the check out they have demanded extra money for ac usage and make my trip customer care was not available to contact and also no room service was provided to us in these two days

was really horrible. after check in they quarelled with me for 400 additional. in room only one bulb which gives dim light &the toilet was leaking. the bathroom has no 'mirror' and the mirror in room, we cant see our face!even they did not provide a glass of water.early morning instead of a good morning they remind me about 10 O'clock, my check out time!the pillows were thickness of 2" and the fan was providing music the whole night. the surrounding is full of leaves and we eacaped from crawling creachers. so if anyone want to destroy their rameswaram trip please book a room in prakash lodge.

Different room provided by manager, no water was there in room. While asking for these things they start fighting with my wife and family members

Caretaker told me to take cab suggested by him when i denied he told me that i need to shift to a different room as this was not allocated to me or i can pay 400 extra amount to stay in the same room. I was already late so i paid 400

It is very good experience very near to temple and service is good rooms ante hygiene and good atmosphere

language problem. He didn't even kept towel and sheets till I asked. room was clean and behaviour was polite.

Bathroom is not clean apart from that all ok

Hotel place is very near to temple and neat & clean rooms. Only drawback is car parking. Own parking is not available and private free parking is there but safety is our own risk

No bedsheets and soaps will be provided.

There was no care taken by hotel staff. After complaining about water is not coming repeatedly he kept telling manager will come after some time. Although manager was somewhat nearby only I came to know immediately. No soap. No towel. No drinking water. Fan regulator is not working at 5. Request MakeMyTrip to remove this hotel from its list. Other than us no body else booked this hotel during our stay. We were alone in this hotel. Uncultured hotel staff in the holy city of Rameshwaram.

Please avoid this at all cost. No politeness whatsoever. We wanted to know if we can check out late. He could have said no but instead he started shouting. Please learn how to respond as manager. Also rooms were filthy and no room service. You gotta carry your stuff. No hot water. One of the worst hotels not in rameshwaram but in the world.

Very dirty room no proper room service the staff behavior is not good no drinking water available I suggest never book this hotel.
