Review Of Motel Dev - Sangam View Property, Devprayag

Location wise it was a good property. However the toiletries were not provided. No dustbin. Bedsheets and pillow covers were not clean. Towels were spotted. Crockeries were chipped off. Highly overpriced. On an average. We did not like the stay.

Three of us all elderly- me,65 years, my wife 60 and mother in law 85. Duly checked in around 4 pm. God forsaken place with no one to listen to us and help. Around 10 pm while dining, I was called to the reception and take a phone call. A guy introduced himself as the owner of the hotel and demanded an additional charge as I was provided a AC room and what I paid through make my trip was only for a standard room. I was pretty certain I booked an AC room online and told him so. He became very abusive and demanded either the money or shift to a non AC room forthwith. I asked him to call me on my phone number given in the invoice and cut the line. I checked online and found he price I paid was what the hotel charges for an AC room. Spent the night in anxiety and left early next morning, best to avoid.

When I reached the hotel at about 04:30 PM there was nobody at the reception. The restaurant service staff told me that the manager is sleeping, please wait, Ritesh was the only person concerned about the guests rest all were enjoying their life to the fullest.

Motel Dev at Devaprayag is a great place to stay. Beautiful view of the temple plus the Sangam of both the rivers. Very clean, lovely staff, nice food. Over all, we will recommend to our families and friends

I booked this hotel only for best location for my photography. Food was not good even more hotel was under construction and lack of food options. So don't expect much it is fine if you are staying for a short period like one night/day.

Overall good experience. You can have great view of the sangam and the Rama temple from the hotel.

Nice hotel to stay in Devprayag. Beautiful view of prayag and river Ganga. Rooms are clean and hotel staff is good. Restaurant serves good food. Overall nice hotel to stay in a small place devprayag .

1. Great location with great view of the sangam 2. No geyser 3. Cable tv did not work in one of the rooms. 4. Located on the western s8de 9f the sangam, one km away from the entry gate to sangam 5. Good service 6. Average food. Did not try nonveg food.
