Review Of Manvar Shergarh , The Desert Resort

A very pleasant experience at Manvar. Nicely kept cozy property. Great food. Courteous staff, amazing location. Serene!

It’s a superb stay for chilling. Fantastic hospitality, awesome food and very friendly staff at the resort. One can stay there for just relaxing. Away from the city life a quiet place to relax.

We stayed at this property for two nights. The manager who is handling the hotel (with rooms and not tents) did not meet expectations at all. For every request, the default answer is no. They don’t come up with solutions and overall attitude is very passive- to get with minimum effort. Simple requests like keep extra wood for bonfire that we already paid extra for were met with a no and we had to escalate to get it resolved. In contrast, the manager at tented property was very professional and had a service mindset that was completely lagging in hotel property. To top of the bad experience, the owner of property accused us on google reviews for not paying the bills when we put a 1 star review. This is completely false and only speaks to the business ans not service mindset of the property (that comes from top. Customer definitely is not first here. Hard avoid.

Safety standards are properly maintained and all staff members are gentle men and wearing mask all the time

Manvar is a pleasant desert camp. Food is great and the tent is also very comfortable. The evening cultural program under the starry sky is a bonus.

Me and my husband booked this one since it was close to a farm we were visiting for business. We checked in about 7:00pm and were too tired for a desert safari so requested them if we could stay back at the resort. They hosted us at the resort which was an amazing experience. We had to leave next day 5:00 am which we informed them at night. We got a wake up call and 10 minutes later hot masala tea. While we left the lobby hot breakfast and fruits were packed.

The stay at Manvar turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Great hospitality from the word go, comfortable tent with all luxuries, an evening of music and dance in the setting of desert and a walk and a run Around the Camp made this visit very special

Great facilities. Clean and green property. Courteous staff. Amazing adventurous desert safari. Good food. On the flip side, limited food options, especially for vegetarians for lunch / dinner and all activities like safari, culture programs are exclusive of tariff which make it a costly proposition. But no complaints regarding staff, property or service offered.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay highly to go the desert camp and enjoy the evening dinner with cultural program highly recommended .

Good experience overall, I enjoy a lot location is good, food is good, climate is good, hospatility is good I enjoy a lot with my friends and family. I will love to visit this place again and again and I will suggest to other also.

Woaaahhh ... The stay was amazing. Superb staff, very friendly and cooperative, very helpful. Good food and great property to enjoy either with your partner or family! We visited Tanot mata temple and longewala post which is near Jaisalmer. It was awesome experience.

Average .. All activities closed due to off season. Not much recreation facilities except a swimming pool. And pretty expensive as well. The rates of dessert safari were not just expensive, but exorbitant. Confusing check out timing. Hotel said check out time of 10. While booking on MMT said 12 noon.

We had booked the hotel and by mistake we booked for next day, however the hotel manager adjusted for same day. We went there and there was no one else as all guests had gone to camp, we were frightened to stay alone. Yet, they made us feel comfortable.. Perfect stay. We were so tired, closed the door of room but forgot to lock it, still we were so safe And morning all people came back from camp, yet the staff was so welcoming and place was beautiful.

It was my 5th time and as usual it was fantastic and even better. Calm and pleasant. The staff is friendly. Food is extremely good. Room service is good. We went for Jeep safari it was just blowing it.

We stayed at the resort. Such a well maintained property. Everyone in their staff, was looking forward to give you perfect service and experience. Desert Safari and Camel ride are must, if you are staying here. Apart from this there isn't any other activity. Will suggest travellers to go in a group, with purpose of relaxing.

Need improvement in reception area. Guidance required for the guests about the stay in the dunes tents. Website also required the information about the tents stay at dunes. Food and service was very good. Very important, I hope the service staff is of legally required age.

Good place to get away from city. Landscape is good. However the price doesn't match the second class facilities. The rooms and services are of three star. Bathrooms are third class and bad. Very high prices for 3 star facilities. The staff is good and courteous. All in all had a decent experience at Manwar.

Located on side of NH 114 with frequent noise of plying vehicles. Inside of resort greenery but with wild grass and full of mosquitos. Really boring place for children. A quiet place, away from city's noise but not at all great as they show off and not at all advisable with the hefty amount they charge.

The food was quite salty and extra spicy. The location is nice where I can see all the stars in the middle of the desert. The camel ride was good. The one night that I stayed there, blackout happened twice. But overall the hospitality is great and definitely a great experience to sleep in the tent.
