Review Of Maharaja Kothi

Interior very bad,not prepared for hosting.Staff are very friendly and helpful.Food is not great but we are managed.

Amenities were minimum. Rooms had mushy smell. Generally in other places, rooms are on a higher ground to minimise intrusion by insects etc, here it was at ground level which was odd. Could have been maintained better. Staff is good, food is average but they improvised based on requirements. Overall average.

we would strongly suggest to avoid making any bookings at maharaja kothi…. we did book our stay for 3 days and could not spend 3 hours in the hotel - reasons 1. stench in the room 2. dirty washroom and used toiletries and towels 3. hotel staff refused to provide hot water in the month of dec stating that the wood needed to heat water is wet and hot water cannot be arranged… from our experience and financial loss equivalent to 3 days tariff which the hotel management refused to refund :( we hope that the extra money is used for basic maintainance and upkeep of the property…. pls exercise caution while booking suggest first see the room/ ambience and then pay at the hotel

The stay was clean and big but there was no geyser available.

Property is very old. Food quality is good. The location is in the middle of Bandhavgarh Service is slow. Amenities are average. The staff's responses are very good. Staff Behavior is excellent. overall trip enjoyed

Nice environment around the cottage. Good food, had a pleasant stay at the kothi. Well furnished rooms and clean washroom.

The hotel is a very old property. It's not maintained properly. May be becasue i visited in aug which is off seasons. Nevertheless non recommend to choose this hotel during off season. Also the pool was not accessible. Washroom was not clean. No toiletries. However food was good and tariff was reasonable. But overall bad experience

Hote, l staff, view great. In booking room shows air conditioner, but no ac is in my room, that disappointed me, but over all hotel is great. Love to visit again

Whenever any you stay at maharaja kothi never select dhol rooms total wastage of money rooms having moisture and smell beds were in worst condition no tv no geyser no room blowers service get disturbed at of rush. Food quality was good house made food but don't book food in your booking. Bookings from mm t were not in priority for the hotel team. Behavior of staff was good.

Food was very costly but they didn’t compromise with the taste. I will give 3 out of 5 only because the food was very very costly.

No temperature checkup no sanatizer is available in hotel. Dinning area is also common with single bone fire. No room service is available no intercom phone available in the rooms. Food was so terrible.

Terrible hotel, it was under renovation, no manager, no cook, no service boy, no geyser in the room, not clean room, dirty toilet, no soaps, no shampoo in the toilet, in a single word, no yes I have found.

The day we had to check in the Hotel was closed for maintenance and we were given the room in another hotel which wasn't good enough. We couldn't complete the stay and had to check out a day before.

First, I was interested in the location of this Hotel. But later on I came to know the hospitality of them. Even before making my reservation, general manager was so helpful not only for my stay but safari also. After I reached the premises, oh I loved it! It is totally surrounded by nature and peaceful place. So sometimes I could See monkeys but it means I was in that much nature. It is safe with keep closing the net door and not disturbing them, which we humans should not do for any animals. (people coming for safari must understand this point and visit. ) this Hotel is not like a fancy one but more than a price I paid. Food served was also amazing. There is no menu and they provided according to customers order, which may take some time. But yes of course because it is home food. Recommending this Hotel for all nature lovers, who loves peaceful and calm stay. Not for party people. Also I was attracted small museum inside the premise. Since this is a maharajahs property, it is possible. Old is Gold. Management has been changed to Maharaja family and they are ready to improve this Hotel more and more.
