Good hotel for family stay. It is family run hotel and they are very polite and cooperative. Nice view from hotel room. Veg Biryani is a must try.

It feels like hotel **** homestay because its run by a family who live alongside the hotel. You get snow-capped mountain views all year long from this location. Its in a village so road from highway to this hotel is not in good condition as of 30 september, 2024. But like they say, difficult roads lead to beautiful locations.

There are no facilities not even a shelf was available to keep things. Food was terrible. We ordered chicken, it was full of neck pieces and when we asked the response was shop gives the pieces like that. Also food will not be the served to room. Only advantage is view from the room is great.

Excellent location right on top of hill. Neat clean spacious wooden rooms with water heater. Restaurant serves fresh food, need to be patient as everything cooked on order. Heater blanket provided. Yea maker in room. Very polite and supportive staff.

The best room view ever! rooms are wooden panel-led and there are good heating options for the cold weather. The food is excellent and anil took great care of us. Also being a little awat from the main road it's silent and isolated just like i prefer. Overall one of the best stays i have had in a while!

My experience with kolong retreat was amazing. An off-beat hotel situated in the valley of kolong. Spacious, neat and tidy rooms, with good room service, and good staff. The food was tasty and well-cooked. The view of the snow-capped mountains from the window is breathtaking and peaceful. The owner mr. Lobzang thakur is such a gentle and polite human being, he made sure all our needs were met also you may ask his dad for your trip to baralacha or zing zing bar, he will guide you with the best timings and routes.

Amazing location, felt like home and above all great food. Owner is very warm person who will go extra mile to help you. Must stay at this place !

The stay was just amazing. It was like a we stay in our home. Hospitality was amazing. Nice room, nice atmosphere. Host was just superb.
