Disappointing Stay at a Ibbani Resort That Missed the Mark I recently stayed at what was supposed to be a luxurious resort, but unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had expected. From the moment I arrived, I noticed a lack of attention to detail that quickly turned my vacation into a series of frustrations. The check-in process was incredibly slow. There was only one person at the front desk, and it took one hour to get my room key, despite there being multiple staff members standing around doing nothing. No apology for the wait, just a cold and impersonal interaction. I booked single cottage with jungle view initially resort staff offered standard room after 20 minutes of discussion and argument resort staff agreed to give joint cottage When I finally got to my room, I was greeted by a disappointing sight. The room was nothing like the pictures online. The the furniture was outdated, and the bathroom had a musty smell. Worst of all, the AC didn’t work properly, making it unbearable at times. I came to this resort expecting relaxation and a break from everyday stress, but instead, I left feeling more frustrated than when I arrived. The lack of communication, poor upkeep of the facilities, and indifferent service made my stay feel like a waste of time and money. Rating: 2/5 (One star for the location, another for the potential it had, but that’s about it.)

Rooms not very clean, especially the bed and the sheets they had lot of stains and didn't feel hygienic or they were regularly washed. The bathroom was fine. Overall not worth the price, at max can be paid 2000INR. The restaurant food quality is very mediocre, breakfast was good though. Room wasn't clean and requested for a different room which was better. However, bedsheets and pillow covers had stains and felt like they weren't washed regularly. Restaurant food was average but the breakfast was good.

Quiet place amidst green jungle. Chill and relaxing place. Tasty food. Nice cottages. Ample parking area.

The property is excellent and the staff are courteous. Two days of stay was very peaceful. Cottages are big and the approach is made for cars to reach cottages.

resort is good, service is good but only one concern is swimming pool occupied by 5 to 6 🐸 frogs not able to swim

Misleading advertising, says privacy room but doesn't really have privacy as you can hear people outside all the time and they can hear you. Very close rooms with balcony spaces also very close to each other. Cost is a bit on the higher end for regular facilities.

The property is highly overrated, and is managed very unprofessionally, though the rooms and wash room were clean, it requires urgent pest control. The complimentary breakfast was not good, iddli served was sticky. Needs to bring professionalism in the business. The cost does not match the service provided.

Location is great, staff is very caring, food is really delicious. Rooms are clean and spacious. We loved the decorations and play area. Our kids loved the place too.

If you are looking for a stay over en route, you can choose ibbani. The rooms are clean and the place is safe. It's a pretty new property with an un-trained set of teams. The room is not fully equipped with simple things like electric kettle, coffee/ tea powder and creamer. The restaurant serves food, but the team is hugely stressed and confused. The intercom does not work, the tv does not have basic channels connection.

If you are looking for a stop over, you can stay. This might be a good choice, if you are looking for a clean room and bathroom. It's a new property and the team needs to get stabilized. The service needs to improve in terms of understanding the requirements.

pros: serene location big rooms with sit outs clean linen (resort is just 7 months old) helpful staff cons: food...food..food...really not up to the mark i have decided to stop drinking coffee from now on 😝 no tea/coffee sachets in the room. they have zipline...charges 250/person/zip

We booked this resort during our recent stay as a couple, we would like to rate as :- 1. Room = 5 / 5 (The room and washroom was very clean, comfortable and spacious i.e. of balcony room) 2. Location = 4 / 5 (Location of the Resort is very nice) 3. Overall Property = 3.5 / 5 (Property is huge and is nicely spread) 4. Adventure & Activities = 3 / 5 (They have option for zipline, swimming, archery, etc.) 5. Food = 2.5 / 5 (They need to improve on quality of food – we ordered only Veg. food) 6. Staff & Service = 4 / 5 (Staff and service was pretty prompt) Overall rating would be 4 / 5. The resort was opened just 1-2 months back, we are giving them high rating considering the same. There are many aspects where the need to improve substantially and they are still developing their property. Our room A/c was not working. Resorts’ WiFi connection is bit weak. TV was smart TV but without decent internet its of no use unless you pre-download some series / movie and watch it. However, it can be a good stop by for family (with kids) or friends or couple. Especially for those travelling from Gokarna or Murudeshwar to Jog Falls to Hubli. If you do no want to stretch for long drive then this can be a pretty decent stay around Sirsi. We enjoyed our stay except Food.

Very good location surrounded by thick forest within 6km from sirsi town. Non polluted, attractive landscape, excellent large rooms with tasty food. Helpful staff and car ring owners. One must experience this.
