Review Of Hotel Shimla Palace

Staff is good but cleanliness is not up to the mark.
I ask to change my bed sheets and pillow cover but they didn’t. In bathroom no shops are there to hands bathroom are not properly cleaned. As we know in covid pandemic cleanness is very important and they ignore it.

It was good to stay if you are solo as it was economical stay

The hotel was at a convenient location, 1 km from Lucknow Railway Station. Room condition was alright. Food was however a little expensive and it would have been better if breakfast was included within the package for the amount we paid.

Hotel service good but they shifted our belongings to locker room without our knowledge, this is surprising and criminal.

The hotel staff are not sure of what they are doing, I was first taken to a room which was occupied by somebody else, a couple which was shocked to see the hotel staff si trying to get into the room. The room in itself was not the best, it had cockroaches. The bed sheets had stains. There was a continuous pounding sound from i don't know what is going on in the background starting from 8:00 am. When i tried to check out there was nobody at the reception at 5:30 am in the morning and the staff keep looking at you even when they have not done anything to get a tip.

Location is good food was good service was poor overall very poor quality.
Overall very poor hotel small in room air-conditioner remote was not properly working.

Not happy overall, cleanliness was bad, room amenities was not clean, small size room with no proper lighting switches, washroom was damaged and in poor condition, no hangers for cloth hang in almirah, complementary breakfast was not suggested by manager, they charged for few foods,

Executive room was not even looks like an executive one it was wastage of money and no toiletries no newspaper no water bottle even they kept only one towel and a soap in the bathroom. Bathroom was very dirty and window was broken. Dirty room and bedsheet AC was like Fan

Nice. But they degraded their services. I request then to get back in the way they were before. Overall it is value for money. Behaviour of staff was good. I appreciate them for that and believe they will surely continue with this behaviour. Location was good.

We liked everything about the hotel just one issue is that they provided us a different room. Apart from that every thing was perfect we enjoyed our stay there. The main thing we liked about the hotel is the location. Staff is were nice, so I recommend the hotel.

Consider staying at this hotel only if you are solo. Over priced and pretty bad location.

Blankets and bed covers are old. Not unclean but still needs improvement. Its a vegetarian hotel. Shower was not working in my room. Food menu needs huge improvement. Stay here only if you want to save money. Except that point will not recommend.

This is a very bad hotel in Lucknow. Rooms are very dirty, Air Conditioner was sounding like a generator. The hotel manager charged much more for every food item then priced in the menu. Completely not recommended for every one.
