Review Of Hotel Gilbert

I booked hotel Gilbert from 3rd oct to 5th oct, but when I reach Manali and asking for check-in, they said that they couldn't able to arrange rooms as that was booked by some other party. I suggest never stay at hotel Gilbert, totally wastage of money.

Average rooms with badly maintained furniture's, very near to main market have to walk about 5 to 10 minutes, poorly maintained with old furniture and paintings of walls, very few staff have to wait for somebody to show up, not very clean.

Rooms were clean it was just blankets which should be with cover, staff was also good, overall paisa vasool. Location is quite far from mall road but its just 5-10 min by-walk. Trip was good thanks Makemytrip and hotel staff too.

Astounding location with a beautiful view. Good connectivity with hadimba temple, Manu temple, old Manali, club house and so on. Had a nice stay in Gilbert Hotel I am suggesting people who have average budget can blindly approach to hotel gilbert without any confusion and lingering. It has room according to the size of the member. It has additional laundry facility, room heater(for during chilly months), extra blankets, bed or any amenities can be arranged by the staff or the manager. Staff is really co-operative, obedient, kind and humble. Taste and see that the hotel gilbert is good.

Location wise hotel is good near Mall Road... Staff is overall good. Room is average with hot water supply... Food rates are also cheap as compared to others... Overall it's OK type experience... But of course it's value for money..

. Thanks for listing this hotel. The location is on the main road and very close to Mall road the view is amazing. Its best for small family and honeymoon couple who want to spend less money and get the best out of it .. You can enjoy lovely view from the window. Its not for those who want to spend lot of money only to show where they stay, but its for whose who want to enjoy traveling and use hotel only for comfortable stay with good bed, bathroom, and big rooms with lovely view. Bathrooms are clean and good but hot water is the problem, they provide only in the morning, good food at reasonable rates. Staff is good and soft, room heaters are provided on request with very nominal charges. We got warm welcome. The best time to stay in this hotel is Dec where you can enjoy the climate. Dec is the best season for couple only. I give 100% ranking for this Hotel. I was with my family of 2 kids and its best place. I give 100% ranking. True Value for Money.

Cons: Pathetic food, unclean rooms, geysers not working, bed bugs, strands of hair. Everywhere, bedsheets and blankets not washed (when we called the room service to change the stain ridden bedsheets, they refused saying its 10 pm you should have called in the morning), staff not at all hospitable. Pros: 500m from Mall Road
