Hotel Chandela had many great things to offer. The room was quite clean (upto the mark given ocd for cleanliness), hotel staff was helpful especially the house keeping staff who were polite and empathetic towards one's need. Morning breakfast and menu items for lunch dinner was good, however, menu items can definitely be improved by sticking to local dishes. The ducks and peacocks in the lawn garden towards balcony of the room was an enjoyable and peaceful pleasantry which has won my heart. Definitely recommended for stay in Khajuraho.

I am so happy I chose Chandela Khajuraho from amongst other 5 star properties. It was sheer delight to stay there. It is such a beautiful property but more importantly such beautiful people. Food, service, bar..everything was awesome. Had perhaps the best Mutton dish ever. Thanks for making this a memorable trip

Stay was amazing but the dinner provided was not good. The menu was extremely limited with not much of the options. Rice was uncooked and it was still raw. We had booked our dinner along with the stay and that’s why they provided us limited menu. It’s better to not opt for lunch / dinner along with tickets. Breakfast was amazing. Service was excellent.

The hotel claims to serve 5 star luxury experience but they have given lounge type treatment. There was no disposable footwear in the room, no iron, no dryer nothing. And the junior staff at the reception was extremely incompetent and rude.

Pros - the hotel was good and ambience was great. The staff was courteous. Once my 3 yr old kid had strayed out of the room and the staff was vigilant to inform us right away. Thanks a lot for this ! had mixed feeling about the food - ordered a few items in room dining. Some were great others not so much. Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of options in indian cuisines. Cons- we were not explained properly about the hotel amenities. Came to know later on that there is gym facility available. Asked for room cleaning while going out for tour but they conveniently forgot and could only do after reminder. No travel desk. Need to rely on third party. Suggestion : they can have a dedicated kids play area inside the hotel.

Hotel was good as expected but the restaurant manager was not so polite d he talk very rudely as like normal hotel manager. Reception staff is very helpful specially satish ji they help me lot my rc paper of car has forgotten in sakarya police station during routine checkup they arranged me the contact number of that police officer and i found my rc.
