Review Of Grand Hotel

I didn't stay in this Hotel due to wrong booking and amount was also not refunded to me. If possible please refund my booking amount.

Nice hotel to stay, nice atmosphere.

Awesome place to stay with very good amenities.
One of the best stays, staff was very helpful inspite of my odd check-in and checkout time. Definitely grand hotel will be our first choice in next trip.

Rooms were decent. Location was the only silver lining of our stay. Drinking water was not available in the room. No water jugs or glasses nothing. When we inquired about water, we were told to give them any empty bottles.

Room are very small. Location is not good. Safety wise hotel is not good for family. Total wastage of money. For everything you need to call reception and they didn't place toiletries also.

The hotel is located in the market place. The entrance is really shabby and dirty. In fact, this is not a hotel but four - five rooms on first floor of market shops recently renovated for business travelers. No restaurant as well.

On reaching at 03:15 pm yesterday, we were told by the manager of hotel to wait for 30/40 minutes as our booked room was not vacant. Helpline of MMT was called to intervene and could only then later get it.

Hotel is located near to main Gurudwara .. In market itself .. Location is nice but rooms do not have proper ventilation ... Interiors are quiet soothing .. Staff behaviour was good .. But for a location like this, you can get better option in less price ... For me it's bit costlier .. Else things were quiet okay ..

It was like hotel in the main market, you have to park our car in the road side without any security, room interior is good but no ventilation or single window to the room it was like looked into the box feeling. Staff and services are good

This was the worrst experience, I ever had with any hotel. Locality of Hotel Grand is excellent, very close to the gurudwara Shri Anandpur Sahib Ji & the bus stand. Entry to the hotel is filthy. Room assigned to me was OK, bigger than I needed (2 double beds). But very soon I was requested (or insisted) to get accommodation in an another hotel (Arora Hotel) at Naina Devi road. It was approx 3 km away from the original location. I (with my wife) was being transported there in a Maruti Omni with a stranger. Behaviour of the stranger was friendly but how I or anyone can trust on a person, we don't know at all. My entry was made at Hotel Grand, but I was accommodated at Arora. Here room was small. But it's a newly build hotel, so it was neat & clean. Owner spend a lot of money to build the hotel but the construction was not of good quality. Tiles mismatch, water logging in Bath, limited DTH connectivity (at night only). Morning was great, when I was informed that the dinner (dinner was nice & hygienic) is gifted to me at no cost (but the room was also not of the worth they charged). I was told that the bus can be availed from the opposite side of the hotel. Waited for more than 20 minutes, but that was not an official bus stop so no bus stopping. A staff-member from the hotel took both of us on a bike to the bus stand. Got the bus & travelled to the Naina Devi.

In short More then expectation. Room interior nice Cooperative staff members and delicious & hygienic food with affordable rates Soundproof rooms with automatic room freshners No security issue and worth for money.
