We have booked 3 rooms (2 - Deluxe AC and 1 - Deluxe Non-AC) in Hotel Darshan Executive. But on the day of check-in, Hotel Management called us and told me that their is plumbing problem and only 2 rooms available and in which 6 people can easily accommodate . I clearly told them that please arrange the rooms as per my requirement. First they said yes but after sometime they called said me that they are going to arrange my stay at there 2nd property i.e. Hotel Darshan Grand. I first denied and then accepted it as i don’t wanted to escalate it more. But my stay was literally pathetic. The offered me 3 rooms in Hotel Darshan Grand. The mosquito population is out of control, posing health risks and discomfort. The rooms was unhygienic and fell short of expectations. The cleanliness and maintenance seemed lacking. Specifically:
- Towels were stained and not fresh.
- The WC seat was unclean and had visible stains.
These issues made for an unpleasant stay. I paid ₹400/- extra charge for the AC for the 1 Non-AC room but the AC in that room was not working. I highlighted the issue 2-3 times within 2 hours of span but nothing happened. Checkout time for hotel is 10am which is very early and didnt allow for relaxing morning. But for the mistakes which they have done by offering another hotel for my stay they didn’t offer me any concession. When I requested a late checkout (i.e 12.30 pm - 2.30 hours), they charged an exorbitant ₹1000 extra per room, which felt unreasonable. If you worry about the hygiene then please dont book hotels near by to Mahalaxmi Temple.
