I had one of my worst experiences at this hotel. Below are the pros and cons I observed:
Cons:
1. Reception: The reception staff seriously need improvement. They should appoint a proper receptionist who is polite and professional while dealing with guests.
2. Coordination with the restaurant: I booked my stay with breakfast included, but the receptionist seemed confused and failed to inform the restaurant. On the second day, there wasn’t enough breakfast prepared. Proper coordination and accurate guest counts should be communicated to the restaurant in advance.
3. Caretaker: There was no telephone extension list in the room. I had to come down to request just two plates. The staff said they would inform the restaurant but failed to do so. After waiting for half an hour in the room, I had to go down again, only to find out that he never conveyed the message. Eventually, I received the plates at the reception itself instead of in my room.
4. Lift: The lift at the property is in a very poor condition.
5. TV & Wi-Fi: The TV was not working, and the staff couldn’t provide the Wi-Fi password as they themselves didn’t know it.
6. Service: Only one towel was provided, and no toiletries were given, which is highly inconvenient for guests.
Pros:
The only positive is the location, which is just about 150–200 meters from the temple.
