Review Of Cliff and Coral Varkala, Odayam Beach

Cliff and Coral Hostel is a complete disappointment. In the name of a hostel, they’re just running dull, lifeless hotel-style rooms with no vibe, no facilities, and absolutely of hospitality. There’s no proper information given about local travel or activities, no staff to answer your queries, no security, and no responsible manager around. It feels like they’re doing an (favor) on us by letting us stay, instead of treating guests with basic courtesy. We ended up wasting both our money and our valuable time here. Pathetic management and not at all recommended.

location is too far from the cliff, very humid, too costly, bathroom door broken, not recommended

I stayed in the 6 bed mixed AC dorm. Beds are okayish. Don't take the nonAC dorm because it gets quite hot and even in the AC dorm I was staying, it was hot because the cold air from the AC does not fill the room till you lower the temp till 18C. Not suitable for families.

Best property and budget friendly.... And location is just wow💗... The beach site and those waves sounds... And chill climate... The lawn are was beautiful... And those to pet dogs were... Cute and friendly...

The customer service of the property is so poor . We called many times to the provided number and they will only accept the call after several calls . And the stay was also not much good . The windows were unlocked and when I asked the service boy about that he said it will not work . Overall not really good experience.

Amenities were good and services were amazing location was very close to beach thats a plus point but car cannot enter there

The stay was pretty good and affordable. We chose a dorm for 6 people . Came with air condition and a decent bathroom . Most of the time we were outside so it’s pretty decent stay for a group

The room's were not clean and there was no proper food facilities but the area was good and the manager was friendly but the bathrooms were not clean and the beds were too shaky

We had a very wonderful experience, the property is isolated from the crowded areas and offer a very beautiful stay surrounded by nature. The beach is on 1 min walk-from the property making it very convenient

Location is okay, not exactly a sea view room no food available at stay, no restaurant also no amenities in property, old bed spreads, no blankets, no kettle, no tv cockroaches inside - some dead, some living still

Nice stay with neat and good comfort. Environment is very pleasant and calm. Good hospitality. Stay is near to the beach walkable distance of 300 meter. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Thanks to cliff and coral.

Property was good it was very peaceful only one thing i didn’t like that was charger point it was disconnecting while charging i have to hold the charger rest it was perfect very silent area

The vibe is dead and it's not an ideal hostel. Located almost at the end of the cliff with more distance from the cafes and all, the hostel provide no facilities of food (dinner) or recreation. No activities to keep high engagement. The rooms are okay but pricy during new year. Not worth the money

Location was 2-3 mins from odayam beach, however the room i selected said sea view but the room had barely sea view that too from the balcony... the room had no cloth stand or hangers, just one wardrobe, the bathroom had leakage issue, the staff wasn’t friendly at all, we were told we will be charged 100 bucks per person per hour if we check in early whereas wen we went we were made to wait for 45 minutes since they were cleaning the room. The place had a cozy common area wid swings tried to give it a bohemian touch but i would say there are better places to stay and at lower prices.
