Poor Stay
Rat in camp, extra charge for hot water, no electricity in day time, washroom terrible, overall bad experience. I will not recommend chandrashila e co camp to anybody.

Pathetic service, worst hospitality
coupleMe and my wife went for tungnath trek, and booked this place for a night stay. This place is ~5 km before the chopta main market. provided a gps location which wasn’t accurate and we ended up at a place which was 6 kms away, on a different road which took us to makku. There is no network in this area, except rare jio signals, with a sign board stating the same. Anyway, when we reached at camp around 6 pm, there was no care taker, no owner, no staff at the camp. They said they left early thinking no one is coming. We had to carry our luggage, unzip the camp entrance, fold the curtains- all ourselves. Moreover no lights, had to coordinate with few staff members of other camps there who helped us with solar lights. My package included all meals. No non veg options provided in dinner, Of course the staff of adjacent camp was giving food to us like a life saving favour. The mattresses were dusty, stinky, and also blankets were torn-ed since rats bit them. if you have so many issues, you can leave the camp, and i will return the money in 2/3 days. This happened around 7, when it was quite dark, extremely cold, and we were fully exhausted after driving ~12 hours from delhi. I had to apologise and said, it’s ok, we will manage. Obviously we didn’t had any energy left to find another accommodation at such a remote place, at this super cold time. We had our dinner, whatever they provided, and slept with torn-ed blankets. We left early in morning without the breakfast which we paid for in the package, since didn’t want more favours from staff of other camps who were already making faces for us. Strongly recommend to avoid this place. Pathetic hospitality, disrespectful behaviour and gestures, undue advantage of guests, no support.

Excellent Stay
My stay is brilliant here, staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is super clean and serve hot water in morning. The food is tasty.

Not worth it.
Rooms are dirty, unhygienic, food is prepared in a roadside shed, very unhygienic and poor sanitation. Overall experience is not satisfactory.

Thankyou so much for ur review Our Rooms were clean sir And we didn't prepare food at roadside shed U were in chopta and u know verry well when you was there how was that weather In that wheather /heavy rainfall we prepare food for you networks were not working We provide wi fi to you and you think that you guys have booked a well developed location But its not true there is no proper electricity no networks No basic facilities are there after that we surve our guest . It doesn't mean you guys complaint about that thing who is not available in the entire area like electricity gueesor Entire chopta valley have DC light and that is enough I know about all your complaints . We are sorry that we didn't satisfy you
Terrible Stay
1. Told that we have internet connection but didn’t found internet connection 2. No electricity was provided. Not able to charge mobile phones 3. Rooms was dirty and full of mosquitoes and flies 4. Hot water was not available for bathing 5. The blankets in the room were not in adequate condition to use. Staff was not supportive

Sir u know very well chopta is not a high tech place where u can find everything you know very well at this time there is monsoon time and if metwork were not working then what can we do second things we have provided u wi fi Another thing electricity was provided to u from 6 pm to 6 am Wht do u think sir in that price u want everything what can we do of there is no alternative current We had provided you an alternative option of alternative current that is DC CURRENT WE ARE sorry for ur inconvenience But its not fair that you sre telling that we didn't provide u anything

Pleasant stay and good environment. Looking forward to visit again hospitality was good only issue is network coverage but hotel provide for wifi.

groupThe people at the camp left no stone unturned to make sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant weekend stay at their place. 10/10 would come back here in the future. Location deserves an extra shout out, you get the best views of the himalayas from every camp.

Chandrashilla echo camp review
Tent was not up to date. Light was not there as soon as sun rises as they are using solar light only. Bed sheets, pillows and blankets were unhygienic. Toiletries were not their. They are not providing towel. Overall we feel very unhygienic in that tents.

Sorry for inconvenience mam But i wna clear something We live in a remote area there is only solar energy and solar energy is enough for tourists We provide towel when guest demand From the pandemic everyone ise his own towl.but when guest demand for towl we provide towl And bedsheet changes everyday Sorry for inconvenience but we will try to inhance our hospitality.

Overall good experience to stay in a camp but there are some drawbacks like you'll not get electricity or lack of mobile network. But overall it was a pleasant campaign stay for me. Thanks

Below average
The place is ok, but the service and hospitality is very poor. I booked two cottages with all meals. We reached around 7:30 pm he asked about dinner, although the booking said was silent about the meal preference but he was adamant that he will provide either veg or non veg food. We were 3 non vegetarians and he just didn’t listen to our request and provided with veg food only. When i have 2 rooms i can have both veg and non veg food. The services were below par and the price they charged for food was way too high as compared to what they offered. I would not recommend this place to anybody. There are more camps available on the spot and way cheaper than this i would recommend everyone to go and book a camp on the spot.

First of all sorry for inconvenience mam you are talking about food you were demanding non veg food but mam we live in a remote area non veg is not available at all the time we provide non veg food only in case of demand at least 2 to 3 days before check-in and camps are also available there but you booked cottages mam you guys didn't realise how tough is there to survive with in limited resources you just came and you think everything will be available there. We are sorry for our hospitality but we are trying to inhance our hospitality and aminites thx for suggestions we will definitely improve

Chopta -tungnath visit diwali 2022
The location is good but infrastructure is pathetic. Caretaker is never available at the site and it is being managed by two of the bearers like people. These 2 were good guys and helped us well. Toilets were bad, power supply was inadequate, floor carpets were dirty, no toileteries or towels were provided. In short the rooms and toilets wore pathetic. It is pretty bad against the price charges.
