Monkey Menace...

Average to below average place. The pool area is the only well maintained area. Food is good with limited options in dinner and breakfast. Ordered 1 plate dal for Rs 450 which was too high for 3 start property. Monkeys have free access to the property including the common areas, corridors and lawns. Evening we could not do any outdoor activity as the lawns and open areas were infested with 15-20 monkeys of various age group, themselves involved in fitness activities. Thought of using the jacuzzi post sunset but there too a family of 5/6 of our friends wanted to join us and having unrestricted access to our jacuzzi. Stayed in the Royal Suite which has a glass wall with glass door in the front room. Worst experience was in-the night and early morning when the entire lot of monkeys started banging on the glass wall, pulling the glass door scaring the shit out of the children. The early morning sun greeted monkey poop all over outside the entrance. The staff was very cordial towards the animal guests and expressed helplessness at their assault on us stating “Ab kya kare sir.....”. Package included complimentary high tea which was a cup of tea and priya good day biscuits which again was met with a response “ab jo hain so hain sir......” Did not see any indoor games and outdoor game facility included a cricket bat which doubled up as monkey scaring baton most of the time. Were told Heena art and pottery making was available but will have to be arranged if we are interested. All in all if you are looking forward to a good relaxing stay with beautiful monkeys then pl go ahead and book......

A quaint historical property nestled in a village 22 km away from Bharatpur. It is a nice option for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle. The property has limited rooms providing Privacy, a huge Swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. The hospitality and service extended by Mr Pushpinder, Mr Hamid Khan, Mr Puran and the entire team made it a warm and memorable stay. Something that was disheartening was the lack of any facilities for the drivers despite the fact that the property was fairly isolated. Heritage property, surrounded by village, very unhygienic outside surroundings. The way from highway, no proper parking place inside the property. So much noise from nearby village area, late evening and early morning too 630 am. Staff is courteous however it’s limited and all don’t know about all help whatever guest can ask. Food is ok. The activities mentioned was not at all there. Overall not a good deal
