The overall hotel was excellent. In the month of March I visited this hotel for holiday trip with my family. I went to this destination for wildlife adventure. The destination was very good and location of the hotel was excellent. I liked the most was Pahad in the destination. Best thing of the hotel location was it was located nearby the hilly area and best way to reach the hotel was by car. The hotel ambience was excellent and I liked everything in appearance. Reception area of the hotel was nice and they provided welcome drinks when we reach the hotel. The staff's were courtier and friendly in the hotel. The room was booked by online and I liked the most was room ambience. Service was provided very quickly and I liked non vegetarian food very much in restaurant of the hotel. The activities like Rope Bridge, camp fire were arranged by the hotel. I didn’t ask for Wi-Fi facility in the hotel. Travel desk service was provided by the hotel but I didn’t use. I would suggest to upcoming travellers that it was a very expensive hotel.

We spent couple of nights in August 2016 in this resort. We had been knowing about this place for last 2 years and had in mind to travel to this place once at
Least. So we took this oppurtunity at short notice this time.
We made booking via their Kolkata office in Laketown after contacting over phone from their website.
Resort is tucked right under a hill in Garpanchakot. It has very nicely maintained garden with kids play area and strategically placed sitting places
Overlooking the property. Probably few more could have helped as some of the places are not ideal to sit around in evening due to nearby jungle on the
Hill, just outside the perimeter of the resort.
It takes about 45 minutes from Asansol railway station by car and almost the same from Volvo Bus stand in lower Chiriadanga.
They have 2types of rooms primarily - cottages with 2 rooms shared per bundling and other - deluxe rooms in a single building.
Cottages are closer to the garden and the hill is in the view.
We took their 2 nights package with all 4 meals included. It was around 5500/night
They provide pickup/drop from Asansol Station/bus depot as part of their Sight seeing package.
On 1st day we went to visit Panchet dam which has an adjacent DVC park with it. Its about 10 mins from the resort.
Dam had water released in high volume luckily at that time, which made it quite spectacular in rains ..
On 2nd day we visited nearby places with they a small car resort provided- Garh(old temple ruin), Jai Chandi hill(temple on top of a bare rocky
Hill), Birinchi mandir. It took us around 4 hours
We could not visit Baranti and Murardi dam as the connecting road was flooded due to rain.
We also visited Maithon dam in evening which is about 45 mins from the resort. Resort charged us Rs. 1350 for this Maithon trip.
Food is only served in dining area which beautifully overlooks the hill. As it was in full monsoon the view we got on our 1st day with floating misty clouds
Over the hill, made it a very pleasant experience.
Coming to food, they have limited choice of food available as they only stock ingredients depending on the number of travellers. Mainly Indian/Bengali menu
Available with few Chinese dishes.
Choice becomes more limited if you take their packages like us.
For breakfast choice was buter toast with omelette, aloo paratha, Puri sabji only + apple and sweet, te/coffee.
Lunch you have rice, dal, sabji, chicken/fish/mutton. Dinner is also same with not much variety available. But food cooked was quite good. Liked the chicken and
Fish preparation. Fish in particular was very fresh as they bring it only if you make the order previous day.
In evening snacks choice is between chicken /veg/egg pakora, fish finger, potato finger.
You wont get any dessert/ice cream and I would suggest that if they can see to make it as an option for the guests
I was quite impressed with the service which is quite homely. Restaurants are also quite cleanly maintained which hopefully they would continue in future.
Coming to the room - cottage room was of good size with all furnishings and modern amenities of a good hotel provided. I liked the small dressing room
Adjacent to toilet. Toilet too was of decent size with geyser available. They provide laundry services and daliy housekeeping.
Only thing I found is that they might be understaffed during busy period as same staff was serving us food and room service. On one of the nights we were the
Only family in the resort with only 3 other resort person available in the resort at night, which was bit uneasy ..
Overall the trip was enjoyable with a pleasant stay out in the open rural area in lap of nature.

The activity was not conducted by the hotel. The garden was available at the hotel. The provided room was neat and clean. The check in and checkout procedure was done on time. The service was not good in the hotel. The food facility was not available in the hotel. I would suggest this hotel to improve the service and provided the food facility. I didn’t face any problem in this hotel. The experience was average in the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers.
An experience to remember

We stayed at village Telkupi a self-sufficient eco-village which is part of Panchet Residency. Rural cottages cum studio offers all basic amenities. Food was excellent. In case of compliant they use to return food happily without charging. 15 acres area will give you enough opportunities for those tranquil moments/trekking/morning walk. Bonfire was arranged under starlit clear skies. A moment can't be perfect enough in relishing unlimited supply of kebabs and tandoor items while sipping wine. On one evening they also arranged for tribal (shaotal) dance with bonfire. Parking space available. Security is excellent. Much better than government run lodge next to it.
Room Tip: All cottages are same. Don't go for package with food so you have options.

I visited Panchet Residency Resort at Garpanchkot in the month of Dec this year along with my friends and their family for spending pure holiday for 2 days away from hustle bustle of city life. It is quite straight forward to reach the place through Durgapur highway from Kolkata and took around 6 hrs for us to reach there. The resort is located totally in the lap of the nature just beside the Panchet hills.
There are plenty of sightseeing spots around the place like Panchet Dam and lake, Rajar Garh, Maithon Dam and Joychandi Hills etc which keeps one busy for the entire daytime.
The best thing we experienced in the Nature resort was the food. They provides amazing food, be it veg or non veg from breakfast Puri chapati, to lunch mutton curry till Dinner time Paneer or Chicken dishes, all were simply superb in taste and ideal for food lovers taste buds.
