Hotel Planet Mount ( near to US Consulate )

Rooms were good , Location is good and accessible, Food was bad at restaurant and staff should have provided complimentary water bottles and towels

Though for a short period of Time we've decided to stay there, arrived by 7.30 a. m, but they made us to wait for nearly 40 mns, the room has a strange odour, the washroom is not up to the mark, the pillows had a bleach smell. No towels, no complimentary breakfast, so we've ordered our food the Cups they provided for Tea are not ceramic but plastic, the Tea was not hot at all. We've left by 4.40 p.m. Next time, we'll not prefer this hotel for our stay.

I booked a Deluxe room with space and geyser,ac facility. no geyser, bathroom commode lid was broken. The room allotted is small. not worth it for rs.2200.

Courteous front desk . helpful and no nonsense interaction. Neat linen . Exhaust fans in bathrooms would help

It was reasonably clean . It's easy to access most places of Chennai as it is centrally located . Resturant food is ok ok . There are other restaurants near by to compensate .

Price is really high and the room service is terrible. For providing a water bottle they took literally around 1 hour in the morning.

Service is very poor. No hot water in the bathroom. Didn't provide remote for AC in spite of repeated requests. Location is most ideal and food at the restaurant OK. Though the menu has number of items in the hot beverages like horlicks, boost etc., they had coffee/tea only for serving.

Good Place to stay for solo travellers. This place is near to Consulates. South Indian style restaurants are at a walkable distance as well.

The stay eas not clean, when arrived at night staff didnt welcome nicley. But since it was close to hayaat residency it was ok for me.

Good- the hotel is ok, hotel is clean. Location is perfect and on the main highway. Bad- room service is very bad. Interior is very old style. No breakfast buffet. Hot water is not available all the time it is good to stay and a 2 star hotel.

This would be my 5th time staying at this property, i keep coming back because its an affordable stay plus everything is closely around the hotel. It's just a matter of convenience for me, the rooms are clean and beds provide decent comfort.
