The hotel is centrally located which is very convenient to move around. Breakfast buffet was good and service was quick. The pool side restaurant can be skipped. Coming to the rooms- too compact, meant ideally for 1 person.

Disappointed with the Value for Money

I stayed at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Mysore and booked a studio suite, expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, the stay did not feel worth the amount charged. The room itself was pretty basic, with minimal features that didn’t quite justify the “suite” label or the higher price point. While the property is decent and the staff was courteous, the overall experience fell short of expectations. For the price, I was anticipating a more comfortable and upgraded setup, but it felt more like a standard room. Definitely room for improvement in terms of value for money.

The breakfast and dining service is great - great menu. Great staff. but this time the housekeeping was a let down. The carpets had bad stains - felt very unclean. The bathroom dustbin was broken. Mini fridge was locked.

Overall staying at Grand Mercure was good. Rooms are clean, location is good and the food is good as well. However their service could have been better and faster. Specially when the had allocated joint rooms the interconnected door, minibar etc were locked which they took hours to unlock. Also in general housekeeping was in slow in service. But overall it's been a nice experience.

Very disappointing stay

Very disappointing stay at grand Mercure, Mysore. The room had several maintenance and cleanliness issues (dirty kettle lid, broken bathroom dustbin, stained towel, no napkins, bathroom had very bad smell and a faulty basin drain). Though staff attended after follow-ups, such basics should have been in place without calls. The location and dining were only good, but overall ukeep needs improvement.

A wonderful and nice stay. ambience is amazing, location is just super breakfast spread is very good and we enjoyed the variation in south indian options on each day. Dinner buffet spread is also good. They provided a decent discount. The reception welcomes the guests with a smile and cheer. Reception area is well designed and warm The hosts at the La Uppu are warm and take care of the guests.

Not at all a 5 start hotel

Rooms are not up to the mark. Nothing that looked like a 5 star hotel room. Totally average looking room. Fridge was locked. Intercomm did not work well. Breakfast management was pathetic. Took almost 50 mins to get 2 dosas. They are not at all prepared to handle good amount for guests. Poor management.

Extremely disappointing stay.

Extremely disappointing stay. From the moment we arrived, the experience was unpleasant. There was clear partiality in how guests were treated – some were welcomed with aarti and drinks, while others (including us) received nothing and had to manage on our own. The room quality was very poor for the price we paid. Bedsheets and quilts were old, poorly maintained, and did not feel clean. The bathroom shower was broken, adding to the inconvenience. There was no fridge, no snacks, or even basic amenities that one would expect from a hotel charging this rate. The buffet food options were limited and far from satisfactory. Nothing about the dining experience justified the cost. Overall, the stay was horrible and absolutely not worth the money. With such poor service, lack of maintenance, and biased treatment of guests, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

What a nice cozy room and very good staff. Breakfast and Dinner buffet just fantastic with so many options and healthy and tasty food. The hygiene was good with cleanliness and good smell all over the premises.

Comfortable and wonderful stay

Located in the heart of the city in Mysore, Grand Mercure is about beautiful and comfortable stay. It’s vicinity is close to the Palace and other main tourist attraction in the city. Hotel staff were extremely courteous and polite. Rooms were clean, tidy and maintained as well. Would recommend staying here.

Poor Stay

The stay was poor because. 1. The AC almost did not work in one of the two rooms. 2. there were no hand towels in the room 3. The check in process was almost offensive. 4. restaurant and dining was very good. over all it was a poor experience. I certainly would not visit that hotel again

Poor Stay

Reached hotel late at night around 2200, staff who received us didn't even welcome us. We were tired and staff behaviour was not courteous. We have booked 2 rooms with 3 adults each and we have allotted a double bed, we have to fight for it to prove we are correct and they added additional bed by the time it was midnight. Had a very bad experience. On the positive side the breakfast was good and we requested for a late check out and they agreed for it
