This is the second time, I'm staying at the Hotel. The first time, the room was very small and had a smoke stench. This time around I had opted for the Deluxe room, for which I got a good deal through MMT. The room was extremely spacious!... With 2 king size beds! It was clean and good, although it's obvious that the hotel and the furnishings are badly in need of a renovation. The only sore point was during check in. I had arrived in Chennai on a morning flight and reached the hotel by around 8. 30 am, but the MMT check in time was only at 12 pm. I informed the receptionist (who I think was working the night shift), that I had to come by an early flight and asked him if the room was available. He said although the room was available, he'd not be able to provide an early check in as the Hotel wanted to offer 24 hrs check in only to direct booking customers and not to online booking through MMT. I tried to reason with him saying that delaying my check in didn't benefit the hotel in any way, since the room was already free and that I'd check out the next day morning, which would release the room for any other customers. But the receptionist was adamant. He refused to even consider the fact that I'd been travelling for many hours and badly needed a place to refresh myself. I sat in the lobby, with my bags, waiting for the check in time. After his shift got over, the next person came in and he was sensible enough to realize my situation and allowed me to check in at about 10:30. I accept that hotels have rules and policies, but they should be sensible and flexible enough to cater to the needs of travelling customers. A hotel should be a home away from home.

Excess water bottles are not given by the room service. If I ask for the extra water bottle, they charge for it. It's really irritating. Kindly never repeat the same. Thanks to makemytrip.

Front office is little dark could have been better. Apart from that room was decent and clean and specially food was really of good taste, can suggest Flamingo to others. Humble workers and housekeeping. Bathroom and room was kept clean. Lights, fan, AC, all in working condition.

My stay at hotel was awesome, I felt like being in home. Thanks for the good service. People were available at the right time to give needful things. That made my day from staying. I found myself to get relax for some time even there was extra stress involved.
