Writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience i had with a recent booking through your platform. Booking details: hotel name: south gate hotel booking date and time: 7th november 2024, 11:50 pm upon my arrival at the hotel, i informed by the hotel staff that they do not have any contract or association with makemytrip. Despite my confirmed booking and payment, they refused to accommodate me, leaving me stranded during heavy rain in an unfamiliar city. To make matters worse, the hotel staff was unprofessional and behaved in an unacceptable manner, adding to my distress. Given these circumstances, i kindly request: 1. A full refund of the booking amount paid for the south gate hotel. 2. Compensation for the inconvenience, distress, and additional costs i incurred due to this incident. I trust makemytrip’s commitment to customer satisfaction and hope you will address this issue promptly. Thank you for your understanding and prompt attention to this matter. I will never book rooms in make my trip i will never allow any one i know

The hotel" south gate " manager did not accept your confirmed booking. And they did not allot me the room. He informed me that you people are fraud and no authority to book the rooms at south gate hotel. It's really pathetic to say that we have to search for another hotel. And we were forced to spend double the amount to get a room in the peak moment. So you "make my trip " is responsible for this mess and our financial loss. So refund the total amount paid. O

The hotel management did not accept your confirmed booking. Flatly the refused it calling you people fraud. Litterly we were on the street for 2 hours. Then compulsory we were to arrange some hotel. Hyacinth. Thank god. Any how you arrange for refund or i have to go further action. Idiots read it first

The stay was not bad but i won't extend or recommend management should do a little better and proper facilities should be included

Worst place. Bad smell. Towels are not fresh. Bathrooms are not cleaned. Everything worst of money. Very bad smell coming in rooms like old buildings dust smell. Don't take this hotel rooms. It's my advise.

We were denied one room. Nd dey provided one of d worst available room for us. Had to wait 3 hours to get room. Worst experience. Won't suggest anyone to stay der

Room is good, but cleanliness is very bad, used pillows and used bathrooms. No response from staff

Good hospitality well maintained rooms, quality customer service

Good first: room was quite spacious and clean. Bads: 1. Paint on the wall had peeled off. 2. No mats are bathroom entrance 3. No kitchen/ restaurant in the hotel. 4. Reception person is himself room attendant 5. He understands only malayalam. 6. He said no veg hotels nearby. But i could find a veer nice veg only restaurant nearby with the help of google. 7. He didn't know where the world famous sri. Padmanabha swamy temple. It was hardly 3 kms from the hotel.

Room full of cockroaches and no hot water and not well maintained rooms

Bathroom & door conditions are very poor

it is nothing like reality. The room was unclean, unkempt, there was evident dampening on walls and the paint was peeling off. Smelled bad and they tried to compensate it with air freshener, and of-course they had to over do it and make it free as if the air freshener can exploded in the room. I had to ask for a change of room after checking in since the faucet in the washroom was broken and also since the room wasn’t clean. I moved to another room, just to be disappointed as earlier. I was on a work trip and needed the room only for a quick nap and freshening up, so i adjusted with it for the couple of hours i had to spend in there. But never again.

the building, location and rooms are okay but very very poor house keeping. The rooms where not clean when I entered. Then I asked them to clean the rooms, which again took another 4 hours for them. There were not even a bottle of water and the bathrooms were dirty. shall never book thru oyo again.

I came to the stay by 2. 30pm and the staff there asked me to wait till 4pm for their laundry to arrive. I waited till 4pm and then they said laundry has not arrived. And after enquiring many times, they made up a room somehow with no neatness. I was checked in only by 5pm. Terrible. They would flee when they see me coming with some enquiry and also said they were helpless with the laundry coming in late.

Rooms are spacious, room service is avg and locality is excellent.

Excellent location, good staff, hotel manager is very cooperative and helpful, food is not available due to some covid protocol but it is easily available outside and near by of this hotel.
