Had an amazing stay at Zostel Ooty! The vibes were chill, and the staff was super friendly. Loved the cozy dorms and the stunning views of the Nilgiris. We had a bonfire night with some impromptu music, and it was pure magic. The in-house cafe served some great coffee and food. Highly recommend for a budget-friendly stay with a social atmosphere. Can't wait to come back! 😊

The location is peaceful with stunning hillside views, yet close enough to the town for quick trips. The rooms were cozy, clean, and full of vintage charm. The common areas were warm and inviting—perfect for socializing or just relaxing. The food was absolutely yum and savoury, and the bonfire nights made the experience even more special. The rooms were clean , but some of the dormitories did not have washrooms attached. There’s a born fire which really helped all of us to connect with other people. And the food is quite good.

In the 6 seater stay it's very congested, washrooms aren't attached so you will have to go to common washroom. on the way to washroom if it's rainy season then you'll get wet because it's not properly shaded, plus there is not proper arrangements for cold weather , rooms are suffocating

It is the first time i have stayed in a hostel & it was a really nice experience. Since it was heavily raining, i couldn't explore the entire property. Would definitely stay again in zostel if i visit as solo to ooty next time. Breakfast options are good. The view of ooty from zostel is too good. The negative points are that check out could have been 11am to 12 instead of 10am as guests wouldn't be able to get ready so early in a cold climate. Another point is that no toiletries were given like soap, towel, shampoo. Had to order towel for 31 rupees from the zostel guest portal. Keys of the dorm can be given to guests who belong to the dorm so that they can come & go without disturbing other guests who are sleeping or using the toilet. Locks should be given for the boxes for keeping the luggage to securely store things during the stay. These things needs to be corrected then it would be perfect place to stay without any negative points.

Zostel was really fun. Met some amazing personalities. Had a very comfortable stay. Dorm was really clean and cosy. The property served a great view. Sahil Singh (manager) from the front desk was really chivalrous and he also helped me throughout with my queries. Over all an amazing experience. Already shared
