The Birdhouse Backpackers Hostel

I spent a wonderful few nights at Birdhouse Hostel in Coonoor, and it was the perfect heaven for a solo traveler like me. The moment I stepped in, I felt like I was part of a warm and welcoming community. The hostel's rustic-chic decor, complete with cozy nooks and colorful artwork, made me feel right at home. The dorms were spotless and comfy, with plush beds and ample storage. But what truly made my stay special was the incredible staff! They were always available to offer recommendations, help with arrangements, or simply chat over a cup of tea. Birdhouse Hostel's location is also a major plus – nestled in a tranquil corner of Coonoor, with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a group of friends, Birdhouse Hostel is the perfect place to unwind, connect with nature, and make unforgettable memories.

Beautiful property at an amazing hillside location and yet very nearby to the market and Bedford. Hostel has mixed and women's dorms and an individual cabin. It has a beautiful garden full of flower bushes and trees. You can see an amazing variety of Lilies, roses and many other flowers. Dorms are clean and airy, though restroom amenities can be improved. Hot water is available 24*7. Hostel provides breakfast and dinner, order for which needs to be intimated prior. Food is good but a few more options can be added to the menu.

My one-day stay in the dormitory was a unique and refreshing experience. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and assigned a clean and comfortable bed. The facilities were basic but well-maintained – clean washrooms, good ventilation, and access to essential amenities like drinking water and a common area. The environment was peaceful, making it easy to relax and settle in, even for a short stay. Must Visit Stay in coonoor!!!

Property is in the midst of a good surrounding and the host Aishwarya treated the guests with warmth and helped the guests with local information. I would love to stay again whenever I visit Coonoor. A local autowala who was very humble and reasonably priced helped me to explore the places around, do call him for your travel requirements

This was my first solo trip to Coonoor. the hostel gave such homely vibes, and all the travellers and host were very friendly, it reminded me of my college hostel days. Will definitely come back here.

The property is a must visit for anyone who comes to explore Coonoor. The hosts are really friendly and the vibe is great. Met a lot of people and spend good time with them.

It's such a nice place to just exist. You don't need to do much just sit while watching passing clouds and listening to birds chirping. Everybody is really helpful.

Stay was good, washroom were not maintained properly. Rest the property was at amazing location, very well managed
