Zostel Gangtok, Sikkim

I stayed there for two nights. I had booked six bedded Dormitory. The bed, room and bathroom was neat and clean. Usually Hostels are not clean so much, but this zostel was very clean. Their Food was tasty and the Ambience of their Caffe was awesome. I went there alone but never get bored. The property was near local Taxi Stand. So anytime one can go to the market by sharing Taxi.

Manager was not so good , she didn’t helped me out with anything, also nobody was at the desk at night , ppl were making too much noise in common area still nobody came to silent them also location is also not easily accessible

Vibes not good....not cleaned at all...not good food in cafe.

The property is nice however the staff is not that helpful, had a bad experience as after dinner and chilling for sometime in the common area, when we went back to room, someone did puke there. We tried reaching the staff but couldnt and we ended up sleeping in the common room

Best hotel for bachelors. Relaxation at a beautiful peak and best place to chilll. Clean and comfy hotel in city centre we had a wonderful stay in charming hotel arthur. Gently refurbished, preserving the old art deco details and yet with a fresh and up-to-date feel. Very clean and lots of space. Wonderful l breakfast with a choice for every diet. Very kind staff and great value for money. Right in the heart of city centre.

Very small room. Tv and kettle not working. Rude and ignorant receptionist. Very bad service. I have visited zostel at various locations and this was the worst experience. Luxury hotels available at way better location at cheaper price than this.

Zostel gangtok is good overall. Cafe can be improved. It's a bit far away from mg road, but there are a lot of taxis going in front of the zostel, so no issues in transportation.

Rooms were clean, cafe and terrace was really good. Only thing is this is far from main mg market so you need to walk a lot

the location, amenities, and the room were well dingy. there was no housekeeping at all. don't even talk about the vibe of the zostel, only men drinking on the upper floor, that's all. honestly it was more creepy and unsafe than vibrant and happening. at the price it was awful. if i hadn't done a non refundable booking i would have not checked in. the overall quality of the zostel was below average,

I went during the diwali eve, the beds and washroom are good but the chef was absent! overall good stay.

I think it's a really good hostel with hygiene and you will get some new friends and the terrace cafe has a very good view of gangtok

The stay was normal. But the staff is very unresponsive. The cafe is way below average and not at all upto the mark of other Zostels. it's dirty, staff is unavailable most of the time. There was nothing to eat in the cafe even at 7:30 in the evening and they kept saying that someone has gone to the market to get ingredients. They could not even tell what time or what food will be available. At checkout also there was no one at the desk or anywhere on the property. I got a decent bed to sleep the night and that's that.

Zostel has never disappointed me ever. The same goes for zostel gangtok. The staff is well behaved, helpful, responsive and caring. Met some wonderful people here. Lovely stay. Highly recommended.

It was kind of okayish, staff was cooperative but services needed to be more efficient in case of rush season.

Everything is well maintain, cleaning was done regularly. Helping staf. Only one suggesion please do not close main doar from front in early morning due to which i missed my cab to airport.
