Tashila Hostel

This was an absolutely fantastic stay for my friends and me as we were visiting from the United States for the first time in the breathtaking state of Sikkim, nestled in the northeastern Himalayas. We were truly blown away by the warm hospitality, professionalism, and attentive service provided by the hostel manager, who went out of his way to ensure our comfort. The owner, a gracious and efficient individual, personally greeted us upon arrival and took the time to give us valuable recommendations for local sights and cuisine, greatly enriching our experience. The accommodation was affordably priced at $10 per night, offering excellent value compared to nearby hotels. If I could, I would gladly give this place 10 stars!

The property is very nice, luxurious, spacious. Host is very calm and welcoming. The vibe in common area is very chill and joyful. Bed is very good in quality and clean. Bathroom is good but amenities can be improved in washroom.

Good staff behaviour and clean hostel with lovely atmosphere. I recently stayed at a hostel that, while average in some respects, stood out for its excellent staff behavior, impressive cleanliness, and lovely atmosphere. The staff were always friendly and accommodating, the facilities were well-maintained, and the communal spaces had a welcoming vibe that made it easy to connect with fellow travelers. Overall, these positive aspects made my stay quite enjoyable.

This was the first time i travelled solo and bring a female traveller, i was not very sure about how things would plan out! i got the bus ticket at the last moment on 24th for 25th jean and reached njp on 26th morning! i came across tashi ji's hostel and immediately loved the ambience! i was welcomed with a khada and a steaming cup of tea! had a wonderful time talking to tashi ji about his hostel, sikkim and also about the slolwy increase in solo female travelling! he made sure i got the permits down for lachung directly and got me a very good deal for 2 nights 3 days stay. Even after i left the hostel, he asked me whether i had female travellers in my 7 hours journey to lachhung. Please come here if travelling solo!
