Zostel Goa (Anjuna)

No was there and very bad toilet, and flush was not working and people were coming and watching while I was bathing

Location was fine .. However bed allocated and room allocated did not have working fan .. Me and my friend were allocated Room 101 and Bed 5&6 . There was no fan in the room . Also .. bed was missing for bed 5 and the one available for bed 6 was broken so it was not moveable to direction required . Overall the experience was not that great.. It was mentioned Alchol was not allowed but it was not been followed . Guests were having alcohol in common area and Infact the same was situation in rooms ..

Property was good. Room was nice. Lift was not working and we had to take our luggage to second floor by stair case. No support staffs were available.

The property is good. Needs a bit of maintenance with respect to plumbing. The location is convenient with nearby cafes and clubs being under 15min from Zostel. NOTE: Do not rent a scooter from Zostel Anjuna. It is a scam, the scooter dealer is obnoxious and not at all cooperative. He will try to make false damage claim and deduct it out of your security deposit. Zostel doesn't take any responsibility or ownership which is disappointing.

New building, rooms are cozy but there’s no soul, no vibe. Disappointed

never seen such a low maintained property everything was sticking it felt like a shady guest house. The lift was awful everything was so dirty

The property was very low maintained. location was good but the maintenance was horrible. rooms paint was off, no events happening despite being 12 years anniversary of the zostel. absolutely shit experience, tap water served as drinking water, bad food at the cafe. overall bad experience. would never visit again. the bathroom was stinking for 2 days because of some issue outside. it was just a very very poor experience.

Location is pretty good close to the beaches but property is not so good, over used.

Very bad condition of room and worst service. No proper way to contact to reception and very unhygienic place. The staff doesn’t care about their customers and terrible location to visit because it’s located in a very shady area.

We had a terrible experience at Zostel Anjuna, Goa. While the rooms were clean, they lacked basic amenities — no working internet, the swimming pool was dirty, the café was mostly closed, and even the rooftop was inaccessible. We had a two-day stay booked, but the worst part was when both our trolley bags were broken into and looted while we were out. The locks were clearly tampered with, and to our shock, several clothes were missing. When we reported the incident, the management checked the CCTV footage — only to reveal that our room area was not covered by any cameras. This left us with nothing but assumptions and no solid evidence. Feeling unsafe and distressed, we decided to leave the property a day early. But the staff refused any refund, claiming they had no way to contact upper management, and that even we couldn't escalate the issue since Zostel support is only accessible via WhatsApp. Overall, it was a highly disappointing and helpless experience. We expected Zostel to stand for safety, service, and support, but this stay proved otherwise.

After checking to zostel I had gone out and when I returned in midnight my bed wasn’t there and my bag was open money was robbed didn’t feel safe instantly checkout from the property
