The reception is always empty... From the very beginning, i experienced an unwelcome gesture. we had to wait around 15 minutes to meet the person in charge. He showed the room somehow as a robotic / pre programmed staff. the room was good, the ambiance was good but we didn't feel comfortable. The negligence was so high that we had to go and ask them for the water bottle. (which was supposed to be kept before we 5 during the booking, we selected the deluxe room for which complimentary drinks and breakfast were added (included with extra cost during booking) 1st morning - it was a kind of buffet with yummy breakfast, but on the 2nd day, they asked me to prove whether i have included breakfast during booking. i showed the details to get the breakfast. during which i was totally embarrassed. and the free drinks.. it never turned in.. i called multiple times to get it to the room and stopped asking because of embarrassment. So.. if you check in here. please be ready for uncommitted staff.. unwelcoming gesture , no free drinks as mentioned, and should please for everything you need.

That vedana retreat arambol has a great surrounding with trees and a small pond .... Relaxing atmosphere... with swimming pool... that Care taker is highly helpful for arranging our dinner on late night... food tastes as good as our home food... highly recommend for a budget stay...

The property entrance is about 200 meters from the main road through a very narrow lane, where only one vehicle can either enter or exit at a time. The signboard is confusingly placed at another location, not at the property itself. Parking was another issue — I was told not to park near the narrow reception area so other vehicles could move freely, only to find the next day that other guests had parked there without any problem. We were given a “field and coconut view” room, which initially looked decent, but the surrounding area was full of dog waste from two dogs, creating a strong stench that reached the corner rooms, making the stay very unpleasant. The floor was wet, bathroom fittings were broken, and overall hygiene was poor. The property seems heavily understaffed, with just one person managing everything — from reception to breakfast. Breakfast starts late (around 9 AM) with very limited options and extremely slow service. There appeared to be no order or logic in serving guests, as those arriving earlier had to wait much longer while latecomers were served first. Waiting for even a cup of tea took ages — this happened on both days. Despite such poor service, the staff even tried to charge for complimentary water bottles, and only waived it off after being reminded. Rooms are not cleaned or maintained during the stay, and the checkout process is unpleasant — the staff insists on checking rooms for damages before allowing checkout. I was also told that one additional guest would be allowed free of cost, but later the staff backtracked on that commitment. Although the tariff is lower than nearby options, it is absolutely not worth the money. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience — definitely not recommended.

Disappointed stay at VEDANA Retreat I recently stayed with my family at this hotel we booked SUPER DELUXE ROOM with BREAKFAST but getting a normal room. and was unfortunately underwhelmed by my experience. The room was ok for bachelor’s but not recommending for the night there was no hot water available more over main tap also not working , we used shower for bathing that also not working properly. Don’t expect more from Breakfast, It was limited breakfast but it’s ok The location was convenient, but that's where the positives ended. For the price, I expected much better. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to others and would not stay here.

Very worst service. Only one man was available for the whole resort. Not taken care even to offer water/ tea-coffee

They mentioned their hotel is 3star category hotel but they don’t provide any supplies like dental kit, shaving kit and they have to do proper maintenance. In the room where we stay wc flush coming out while flushing.

Helpful host and staff. Very peaceful stay, good location near beach and cafés & good crowd overall good stay

The food was okay here. There was an issue with the remote of the AC and the new staff Jay wasn’t behaving the way they are supposed to be with customers. Earlier staffs were good. I had been there before. Over all okay experience. The place is good.

Stayed a week in room 108. Nice place. Good housekeeping. Very good guy in reception. The mattress in that room is probably due for a change and a nylon /cotton mix bedsheets makes for a hot night sleep. Generally quiet except for some boozy guests one night talking on their balcony till 2am

Stay was extremely good and the staff hosted us well. Room was cleaned timely and the location was great and can easily commute there.

Resort was Good, Rooms are Good, very Beautifull Location, Beach is also very Near to Room, walkable 650 Meters ahead, we rent Bikes here only from Reception, all are Good, No issues

Three is no privacy in this cottages rooms are not able to locked in washroom can’t be locked don’t stay in this such bad place even the security is on risk

The rooms were comfortable, and the location was convenient. The only downside for me was the hot water situation; since it's solar-powered, it takes a while for the water to heat up.

1. Dont go with the fake reviews in internet, the property is far away from Arambol beach. Very bad and interior location. It is 25/30 mins distance from the beach, the condition of the road also very poor. 2. They have terrible electricity issue. Daily 4/5 times we were facing power cut. Ac was not working. Hotel management was very casual on this issue ! 3. Most weird thing saw first time in any resort- Manager/Receptionist keep sitting in the restaurant area whole day and keep checking who is eating what ! Very cheap behavior. We visited Goa 9/10 times, but it was the worst experience ever.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff stood out the most—they were exceptionally good and supportive, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, making the stay comfortable.However, the WiFi was not working during my visit due to some technical issues, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite that, the overall experience was nice and satisfying. I would recommend this hotel for its great staff and cleanliness.
