Disappointing Experience – Poor Breakfast and Hygiene Standards

I was quite disappointed with my recent stay at Ishwerya Suites. Although breakfast was included in the booking, it consisted of only a single item — idly — with no tea, coffee, or alternatives. There’s no in-house kitchen, and the food is sourced from outside. Since I was traveling with children who don’t eat idly, I politely requested a swap for dosa, but the owner declined, citing profit margins and a fixed daily menu. What’s more frustrating is that the breakfast menu isn’t disclosed at the time of booking, which would have helped us decide whether to opt in or make alternate plans. The rigid approach and lack of customer empathy are concerning — especially for a hospitality business aiming to serve diverse guests, including international travelers. Additionally, the bath towels provided had a strong, unpleasant odor, indicating they weren’t properly cleaned or dried. These seemingly small details significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience. I sincerely hope the management rethinks their approach to guest satisfaction and hygiene.

The location of the hotel is well located, the staff is wonderful and very helpful. The rooms was neat. However the only this was missing was amenities like toothbrush, hand soap shampoo, tea and coffee. The breakfast option was very limited as they are still renovating their restaurant. You will have to go out or order on for food but there are plenty of options when you step out.

Super room friendly staffs great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Good stay except bad breakfast experience. Hotel should stop bf service.

soloRoom is nice, location (in case of works around cbd, ulsoor) is good. But, no breakfast was served on day one even after multiple promises. Had to go out and eat. Day two fixed dosa bf comes at 9. 45 am! no bf options either.

Horrible stay, don’t waste your money

Poor experience, i booked for deluxe room but got single rooms. Hotel asked to pay extra money, i had no other choice but did that. We booked 2 rooms, both the room’s main door were not getting locked, they has the lock with them but wouldn’t give it to us. Caretakers are pretty much clueless and don’t know what’s happening. Room service threw a few boxes that i wanted.

DISSATISFACTION IN MANAGEMENT AND HOTEL ROOMS

My experience with this hotel was not so great. The rooms were allotted to me around evening (5pm) but only one key was provided. The other room was held up by the manager and assured that when we reach back they’ll provide us with that room on same level. We returned back around 11 pm only to find that the room has been allotted to another person and they did not have any more rooms in that level. We checked in to the one room previously allotted and found it was a standard room with balcony and the electricity wasn’t working in that room. After complaining about this matter and yet to receive a second room, the manager finally gave us 1 executive room on the 6th level to where there was no lift facility. And after 30 mins they pulled some tricks with the electricity to make it work. We got both rooms in working condition around 11:30 pm by when we were too tired and frustrated with the manager and staff of the hotel. No wifi key or password was provided. No toiletries were provided.
