Marley Villa| 3 BHK Heritage Cottage

Our family trip was made special by our host and an excellent staff of marley villa. As a family, for most of us our first love is the mountains followed by forests and then the beaches. So i am pretty choosy of the view i get from the property. Thankfully though this property is in the heart of the city, offers an excellent and unhindered view of the mountains. The sit out areas with comfortable lounges outside made long hours of our family chats perfect not to miss mentioning the hot tea & coffee supplied by nakul. The old british bungalow style cottage has large rooms & multiple sitout areas with complete wifi, tvs large dining tables to host a group of 20-24 pax easily. The cook nakul and his team were very acomodative to offer tasty food. Few suggestions for improvement. Tea, coffee sachets in ample quantity is a must. An exhaust fan in bathrooms and the lush carpets needs a vacum cleaning. Overall we had an excellent stay at marley village & looking forward to our next visit.

Service is very poor and staff dont respect guest and staff language iss soo poor

1. When we arrived at the property it was already occupied we still waited for 1 hour, then we left our luggage and went for the market just to spend some time in the market so that the caretaker will get some time to clean the house. 2. Kitchen was so dirty and unhygienic, the staffs also shares the same kitchen and come inside our private area to use the kitchen and they leave the kitchen completely dirty. 3. No social distancing rule followed, staff members, enter our private area without permission and uses the same kitchen which violates the privacy, hygiene and safety.

There was no privacy in the apartment, staffs were entering in our apartment and using the same kitchen which was assigned to us and they made the kitchen very dirty which actually very unhygienic also it’s very bad to share the kitchen with them during this corona situation. No comfort in room. They were given us a bedroom which actually was a living area.

Cook-roaches inside the microwave. Unclean kitchen. Bedwarmers that take 1 hour to take effect. Heaters that need to hug it constantly to have any effect on you. The staff cannot cook anything other than curry with chicken and they will charge you 1500 for a single bowl of it. The staff won't even show up before 9 am. They are so rude that they disagreed to serve breakfast at 8. 30am even when we told them that we had to leave for an afternoon flight. No morning tea or coffee before 9 am either.

This is a great place to stay in a quite place yet amid nature in shimla. Enjoyed my stay. There was no water during my last day of stay otherwise things were good. Host could have done the better job of testing the facilities like water geyser prior to guest arrival. Apart from these minor hiccups, this is a great place to stay with family.

I had visited this cottage for family trip. The appearance of the cottage was nice. The service was poor. I did not check activity in this cottage. There was no problem to reach the cottage. The behavior of the staff was not friendly. The service was not done on time. The room was good. I would suggest this cottage to improve the overall service.

I am went to Shimla with my friend and stay was really nice. Villa cottage location is very nice. Warm welcome by reception and very friendly staff Cottage, rooms is very nice and well decorated and television and air conditioner working properly. Rooms service is very good. Food is also very good and tasty. Overall very pleasant cottage for stay I advice people go there stay this cottage.
