The place is not tidy. In the room there were rats which were roaming around, cockroaches every where.The kitchen is very dirty full of cockroaches and dust,dining area is very dirty full of dust.There is no proper maintenance in this property.please make sure visitors are your first priority so keep the property clean and tidy,so guests leave the place with good thought without any disappointment.

toilet flash not working. bathing and commot do nearer that could not take bath. no bon fire available as we checked in around 8 pm. no care taker to assist. thanks to propitor she attended our call and took action immediately.. but it would be better if a permanent could assist us. over all no value for money.

Mr Jalan , I don't know about the toilet flush not working as no one has ever complained and we check the facilities regularly after every chk out . About the bonfire, like I told you that night,as it was late it was not advisable to light the fireplace inside with no one to attend to . It's a homestay not a hotel so my caretakers are available only from 7am till 9pm and Jaya did assist you all..I am sorry if you felt it was not worth it ...

familyWe stayed at coorg hillcrest with extended family of 12 people for 2 nights. It was a fantastic experience. The location, interiors, cleaninliness and hospitality was amazing! it is an old heritage bungalow/resthouse kind of property, renovated with modern amenities. Has good garden and an open temple site adjacent to it. Ms priya and her team took care of us very well. Breakfast was good, tea was available on request. Only thing missing was availablity of dinner. But otherwise everything was perfect! thanks for great stay!

Went with my family to this heritage homestay. This was my first stay in a homestay and I was pleasantly delighted. Madikeri town is easily accessible and has a great view. Priya and his team make a great hosts. Breakfast was very nice, feel like homely. Hope to visit there again soon.

It was a nice stay at coorg hillcrest homestay, madikeri, just 5 minutes from town. This century old ancestral multi double bed room home stay has all the latest amenities. The caretaker who lives nearby maintains the home stay and surroundings neat and clean. Mrs. Priya is knowledgeable and will guide the visitors for their trip in coorg. The home stay is having hot and cold water facilities, tv in rooms, wifi, cctv etc. Breakfast they served was very tasty. Coordial servants. First time visitors to coorg may opt this property.

A 130 year old heritage bungalow atop a hillock overlooking a part of Madikeri has been recently converted into a small homestay which can house about 14 guests in 4 rooms. Retrofitting the old structure with all modern fixtures is very impressive, essentially combining the best of both worlds. All this combined with a warm host who also personally cooks yummy as well as hygienic food for the guests is the icing on the cake. PS: there are 2-3 routes to this place which is less than half km from the town centre.
