Property & Amenities: The property was well-maintained with modern design and thoughtful interiors. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all essential amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, toiletries, and a minibar. Recreational facilities like the swimming pool, spa, fitness center, and lounge areas added to the comfort of the stay. The cleanliness was consistently maintained, and housekeeping did a commendable job. 3. Food & Dining Experience: The in-house restaurant offered a wide variety of cuisines, both local and international. The breakfast spread was extensive with fresh and delicious options. Meals were served on time, and the quality of food was impressive—flavorful, well-prepared, and hygienic. The staff was attentive, ensuring dietary preferences were taken care of. The hotel is well maintained with professional staff, special thanks to the hotel and kitchen teams for making it a good family experience overall. Deducting one star because of hotel driver's oversmartness who misled us to take cab for going to the bus pickup point, though he later managed to arrange pickup from the hotel itself due to heavy rain and no street lighting.

The Property is very well located (not in the middle of the city with narrow roads, but just 5 min away from the centre) and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. However, not very happy about the spread of the complementary breakfast. I just wish they had more options eg. sausages, wedges, cereals, pan cakes etc. Over all its absolute value for money and enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Altitude Coorg offers a compelling blend of location, comfort, and warm service. Room amenities are good and hotel staff are polite and helpful. The main drawback lies in dining: limited breakfast variety, limited number of sitting space. If you're primarily staying out or okay with simple in‑house meals, the hotel delivers excellent value. However, if culinary choices and round‑the‑clock food service are essential, you might want to plan for alternate dining options nearby.

Overall, the experience was okay but definitely not up to the standards expected from a 3-star hotel. While the food tasted good and the staff responded quickly when called, the room quality was disappointing. The blankets were stinking, and in the evening we only got lukewarm water instead of hot water. The washroom had several issues — the jet spray speed couldn’t be adjusted, the washbasin water wouldn’t drain properly, and the door bolt was extremely tight to lock and unlock. The kitchen sink water came out with too much force, splashing everywhere. There was no toothbrush kit provided. In Breakfast surprisingly, there was no dosa even at the live counter. On top of that, there was no fan in the room in that weather we preferred a fan over A/C but didn’t even have that option. These are basic expectations, and the property needs to seriously work on improving these aspects.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Altitude Coorg. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my visit, making the experience truly memorable. One of the highlights was their offer of a cab service for sightseeing at a very reasonable price. A special mention to Liju, a staff member who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable—his exceptional service really stood out.

Has to develop the restaurant food taste

The hotel is located in the outskirts of Madikeri. It’s central to all tourist spots located in and around Madikeri and towards Coorg. The rooms are good, clean, cozy, well lit and with a nice balcony. They are provided with small kitchen space too..with a microwave, basic crockery and wash space. Food and services are also good. We had booked a deluxe category room which costed us more than 11k for two nights. It was a setback to know that the deluxe rooms are on ground floor only and all higher floors including I floor were premium category. Hence the balcony was rendered useless. Moreover, we were mistaken by the description ‘ by Coorg Jungle Backwater Resort’ and expected a property located near forest area or some water body. This property is located on main road leading to Madikeri. Does not have much to offer except room and dining. Overall, it was overpriced but stay was fine. Justified tariff would have been upto to 3k per night.

Wonderful stay at Madikeri, Coorg in hotel altitude. Rooms actually look like a 4 star hotel with all facilities like mini fridge, microwave oven, godrej safe etc. location is very near to the market too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for sure. Food prices seems to be little higher side but its okay.
