Review Of Saanvi | Rooms in a Homestay

I saw some nice people, and good atmosphere

1. Property was shown as 110m from Virupaksha Temple which was false. It was 3 kms away from all the attractions. Kaddirampura is not the best place to stay. Kamalpura is better. 2. Rooms in the property (Total 4) are good. 1 rooms has a small bed apart from the big one. AC is working in all the rooms. 3. The property host Huliraj Called for conformation but never turned up. He also asked if we need auto pick up from Hospete. Before confirming itself he shared the number with an auto driver who continuosly called and came to station with 3 small autos. There is a direct bus fro. station. We had unnecessary expenses. He did not help with how to book rental bikes. 4. Food in the home stay and the lady who assisted with it is the only biggest plus point of the property. It is really delicious and value to money.

We booked Saanvi Homestay. Which acc to desc is 110 m from Virupaksha Temple. There is no Saanvi Homestay there. We were forcibly asked to move to another property that is 3 km from temple. Owner claimed MMT is responsible for fraud and he did not put the desc. This is an avoid at all costs location. Owner - Huliraj is not cheating but also services in other property lack basics.

Nobody cleaned the room for 3 days no water bottles given daily we had to purchase it

We had a very warm and comfortable stay in hampi. Thanks to hull raj and his family, we were welcomed very warmly as if it was our own home. We were provided with all mentioned amenities and also host helped us with early check-in at 8:30am without any charges. Our host and his family are very nice people and have a big heart. From the day before the journey, hull called us and helped us with pickup from hosapete station and on the day of checkout also he helped us with the drop-off at the same railway station

It was fantastic stay at saanvi homestay true fact is if anything you need you ask them they will provide in just a time. Thanks to abhinaya who managed our three days stay with homemade breakfast and one day dinner.

The hotel rooms were very good and hygienic. The hospitality of the caretaker family was excellent. Moreover, the location of the hotel is nearby all the tourist spots of south hampi.

Well maintained room. Neat and clean. Good hospitality. The host was kind and helpful. Nearby main road where you can get shared autos for virupaksha temple at the price as low as 10 rupees.

Had the most amazing two-day stay at Saanvi Farmhouse. Yes, the Farmhouse not the Homestay as we were upgraded to the more luxurious stay option! Let me tell you how that happened: The day before the we were supposed to arrive at Saanvi, we lost a close family member and could no longer travel. When I contacted MMT for a possible refund (according to policy we were not eligible for any as it was just 24 hrs before). However, MMT team coordinated with Saanvi team to let us travel in Oct and enjoy 2 days stay there at no extra charge. During this time, Huliraj from the Saanvi team contacted me multiple times to ensure we are travelling on the agreed date and even offered to send an auto to pick us up at the bus stand (at a reasonable cost). The personalised care much before our actual stay started with them was an unexpected but lovely touch. On the day we arrived, we were told they had opened a Farmhouse a few months ago and they would put us up there. The property was right next to a huge typical Hampi rock formation that made for a breathtaking view. The rooms were big, clean and tastefully decorated. There is a lovely dog Sweety and a few cats on the property who are absolutely adorable and love hanging out with the guests. One can have lovely South Indian breakfast in open air at a very low cost. Saanvi also offers an auto-service for your travel in Hampi, including drop-off at the bus stand while returning. While we did a bit of bargaining for this but everything about Saanvi indicated genuine hospitality principles. Our auto-sarathi, Wasim bhaiya, was the most wonderful guide to Hampi. He helped us discover a lovely Goa-vibes restaurant by the Tungabhadra river which we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. He took us to the Malyavantha Sunset point at the perfect time so we could find the perfect spot to sit before it got crowded. But most of all, he stayed with us for more than 45 mins near midnight on the day of return because our bus was late! Even the simple questions that the Saanvi team asked us as to how our trip was, were we enjoying enough, did we confirm the pickup point for return with the bus - all indicated to the presence of a mindful, caring hospitality and the lack of transactional mindset. Although I booked the home stay and cannot comment on how that property is, I definitely recommend Saanvi because of the wonderful team that will host you. Do give these guys a chance! I wish the best for Huliraj and team (he has wonderful visions with his property and I hope the dreams come true) - may you never lose this personal touch you offer to your guests!

Decent standard and clean rooms. You can get good food on request. The owner was helpful. This stay is almost 3 km away from virupksha temple. Overall good stay.

All staff is very good very helpful and rooms are clean food is awesome

Room service & taxi driver provided by the owner of the stay are excellent but room to be improved like hang a mirror in bathroom, proper shower to be installed, western commod sitting cover to be fixed properly & a/c not cooling.

This place is very comfortable to stay, the host drove us from railway station to hampi, helped us to rent a bike, gave us good recommendations about food and always supplied us with water. Room is very clean and nice, with towels, hot water, air conditioner and comfy beds. Location is very convenient, close to the shops, pharmacy and cafes, 10 mins drive to main temple.

The stay was excellent. Owner was cooperative and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Good complementary breakfast.

Rooms cleanliness and rest infrastructure to stay is outstanding. But what's outstanding is the hospitality they provide. I was attacked by dehydration and the owner huliraju has literally helped me in getting to hospital, he also has helped me by roaming around to get the tablets at time 7. 00 in the morning when it's hard to find medical stores open. All he did and didn't made me move single inch. Finally i made a friend. The hospitalality and care without taking extra money deserves something more than even 5 star.
