The reception staff were totally unprofessional. The room was below average and did not sleep a wink because of mosquitos.

I know challenges involved in organising stay at Kumbh mela. But Royal orchid could have done better with their hospitality experience. First the staff their were inexperienced procuring local boys. Next the dinner was ok but breakfast was unhygienic. Though I requested they forcibly took away the room fan as they were in hurry to wind up tent. There could have been some degree of concern.

terrible room, poor service, mosquito, and flies are plenty. AC didn't work, no heated water, front desk don't want to talk and many more, unlimited complaints from many people. They charge like 7 stars but service lesser than 1 star Location is very far from the airport, not worth 3 hours of drive from the airport to this hell of a place

Location is excellent, setting up temporary tent city and managing services is never easy but for the price we paid, I expected much better services in terms of quality of mattress, pillows, toiletries and lights. Food was ok. Their service of guided tour up to boat for sangam was great relief in crowd. MD was a very soft spoken gentleman managing everything hands on esp sending off guests for Ganga dip. In house Hawan & Arti of Ganga Maiya was big plus !!

The stay was great and one if the best property in Mahakhumbh, overall excellent experience

I had high expectations when I decided to stay at Dome City, Prayagraj, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, I encountered poor hospitality. The staff was unprofessional and unhelpful, making me feel unwelcome rather than at ease. The accommodation itself was a huge letdown. The dome I was assigned had a bathroom with no proper ventilation, which made the entire space feel uncomfortable. Additionally, the cleanliness was questionable, and I didn’t feel it met basic hygiene standards. The food was another major disappointment. The quality was subpar, and the choices were limited. For the price I paid, I expected much better in terms of both service and amenities. Overall, my stay was a huge letdown, and I would not recommend Dome City to others. It’s clear that they need to improve both their facilities and the quality of service to meet the expectations of guests.

At the property, no commitment was honoured. They had assured our son at Sangam would be organised in VIP treatment. Instead, we were just pushed around on boats and we treated in a most ordinary manner as a general public and it depended that we paid so much of money on the booking, there were total false commitments. Even the dome, even the dome was smelling with no facility, it is hardly close to even half star. Please don’t accept booking for other guest in this property as it is not worth the money that you spent. It appeared, the organisers knew how we would be treated, so they were avoiding us all the time.

Its location is good and food was delicious but amenities and services are poor.

One of the worst stay ever had. Room was completely messed up and not cleaned at the time of checkin and we have checked in at 2am. After checkin room was filled with 100s of mosquitoes and sleeping is far we was not able to sit in room also

Hello team, thank you for reaching out. With regards to review, let me try to group them in different aspects. This might help to give a better holistic picture behind the ratings. We stayed in tent (camp) cottage so the ratings are related with that in mind. 1. Booking process: rating 5 as booking experience was smooth. 2. Check in: rating 3 since there was quite a bit of chaos at reception desk and it took time for room allocation or reception staff to complete check in process and take us to our room. 3. Room: rating 2. The tent cottage was good, but the furniture felt old and second hand. The mattresses, linen, seemed good and comfortable to use. The bucket and mug in bathroom though was old and broken. Toiletries provided were of good quality though. Another part was that hot water in the tents was only in the morning from 5 am to 10 am. (the dome rooms think had dedicated electric geysers. The tents also had challenge with the zip locks for the door. 4. Property: rating 3. The property is laid out nicely, though feels still some work is in progress. Ideally it should have been well set up considering that we are almost a month past start of kumbh mela. 5. Food: rating 4. The food served was good, tasty and of quality. The package included all meals (breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner. 6. Other activities: rating 4. They had live music with singers singing around dinner time. They were providing ganga snan by boat ride to all guests. 7. Staff services: rating 3. All the staff were very helpful and were trying to help all guests with what was possible within their means, but the whole setup didn't seem to be properly planned. There was no contact person or reception/housekeeping number that was provided, and we reached out to the facility people (who brought our luggage to our room) who helped us with our needs. 8. Safety and security: rating 2. Firstly we didn't find any security guard at the gate or maybe taking rounds in the property. There were very few fire extinguishers, and we're kept for the dome rooms. Didn't find any dedicated ones for the tents. Also not sure if there were cc cameras on the property.

Horrible, experience no value for money, they provided a closed hut with bathroom and no ventilation with worst food in this much for 2 nights and NO hospitality.

Worst service, hotel not responded properly, because on 12th of feb 2025, up government declared as no vehicle zone for prayag. So, we were unable to reach the location. The hotel management even don't have courtesy to help us or to inform for the situation as the booking cost of 2, 00, 000. This is so unethical and worst management ever in the lifetime.

Food is good, services wise they are lacking quite a bit. You have to followup to get minor request fulfilled

You said that all would be excellent. There were 25 stairs. So it was difficult to up and down. For anything break fast etc. We, my wife, were old. How we can do all things. So your staff show us the ground floor rooms. No one came for a nice welcome. We reached at 7pm. Insted 11am. No welcome drinks. No help us seriously. Your one staff showed us rooms. We prefer room 104. The room was not clean we call for the same. Old a c. Switch out side. The tv was not working. The bathroom was very stinky. No toothpaste. Two toothbrushes. Very hard. My old tooth came out. It was so hard. It was prepared for two. We called no. Of times. Doors not painted. The door handle was broken. Telephone not working. We are on the way till 9 am. You can imagine. No tea, rather anything to eat. If you were in the same situation what would you do. Room supply was supposed to be there. Anyhow, we relaxed you said me all will be exilent. I was excited. We came here after a long headache. No one will be happy. Rather will be angry. I was cooled. Boat was another problem. Anyway, all was good. First-time experience. We went sangam after a long time, i think, 35 yrs. No problem, but you should go into the matter. I paid you a high amount. Without any enquiries. If you will return some amounts. There was problem in reaching to the venue as no clear guidance , vehicle not allowed even for orthopedic ally challenged old people, had to walk 1. 5 km, this need to be cared. Rest all marvellous, kudos to your team for all that you have done. On return in the morning there was non to receive, even tea was not offered, bit disappointing.
