A place befitting a great wildlife reserve. Genuinely family run, unlike many other places. The owner (dimple) and the tour guides (vinod specially) are naturalists. Ps - 1. Online safari booking should be done carefully. Book only for zones that allow entry via mukki gate (unless booking "full vehicle) 2. Watch the spices !

The staff is super friendly and supportive. Moreover 5 stars for the location itself.

Absolutely enjoyed the stat ! special mentioning for 1. Staff - very supportive & responsive 2. Food - loved the variety and taste the place is quiet and calm and surrounded by the tall sal trees. Its located very close to the mukki gate (2kms) and easy to reach!
The room allocation was strategic keeping in mind the social distancing (hotel wasn't fully occupied during my stay. Staff was regularly wearing mask and maintaining all possible hygiene.

To start with the warmth and personal attention of the staff was all together at another level we were so much pampered and taken cared had truly touched us. Everything at this place is so warm and welcoming that you will fall in love with place and would never want to return. The best part about this place is it is surrounded by nature the moment you step out of your room you will be surrounded by birds, butterfly different types of warms I would say it's a perfect place for photographers. I would personally like to thank Joy-the naturalist at this resort for making us feel so special and trust me guys he had hell of surprises placed for us. He was a Wikipedia for us also would like to Thank all the staff member for making our stay so memorable. Thank you Tarun, Dimple for this awesome memories. The most beautiful part of this trip was the goodbye where they had a ritual of escorting the guest till the gate and all the staff member will lineup for the farewell, I actually had tears in my eyes looking at this gesture. You guys truly rocked I can't thank you all enough 🙌 Adios till we meet again 🤗🤗🤗

Service is good, food quality is better and overall value for money

Everything and everyone in this resort will remain etched in our memory for a long time and wish to be back for a longer stay to refresh the good times! The staff are the key ingredients and the management of this family run property seems to know the secret sauce to hire and retain such unique individuals. Special mention for Joy, whose energy in meeting us everytime after our safari and filling us in with more information about wildlife, was noteworthy. There were 2-3 other naturalists in the staff who were working with other guests with equal zeal. Mukesh who picked us up from Nagpur and Phoolchand, our safari driver, were courteous and adept at their job. The dining service staff and the chefs (sorry I can't recollect the names) were always smiling and eager to make our experience even better. These bunch of merry folks are lead by an awesome person, Tarun-ji. He has fingers on each aspect of this resort and runs it without breaking a sweat! Enough said. Stay here accentuated our experience in Kanha. One idea for Tarun-ji - if we can add a small animal farm, it'll be a great experience for the kids coming to your resort. That will enhance the nature experience even further for city bred kids.

The lodge was within a kilometer of the Mukki Gaye, but you ELT you were already in the jungle. It has 11 acres of woods, with a trail leading to a serene riverfront. They have tall duplex cottages under the sal trees, teaming with birds. A large covered area, open on the sides, is the common living /dining room. The food was fantastic, often personalised. The staff were always there to help with the smallest things. The fact that the host family (Tarun, Dimple, and their school going son Jay the naturalist) stays there is obvious from the fact that each little thing is tastefully done. And what a warm host family! Thank you Tarun, Dimple and Jay for a memorable trip.

Very nice place to stay. All the staff of the KJL are very friendly, helpful, cooperative. They take good care of their guests. The food tastes really very good. The place is very neat and clean. One can go for narure walk. Its an amazing feeling to go for such a wallk. Overall a very beautiful place to regal.
