It was terrible like hell as the receptionist has no etiquette to talk.

Location peaceful but away from main market

Although the location of the hotel is good, I don't like the hotel room at all. The cleanliness of the room is pathetic. The rooms cleanliness was pathetic, as there was high cigarette smell coming from the room as well as from the blankets and washrooms. Cigarette packets were lying in almost all corners of the corridor. I won't recommend to any family.

In all the service was good, helping staff and very polite to all situations.

Very small size of room, no place to seat as they do not provide any chairs in room. Bed and mattress was poor quality. Uncleaned washroom. No freshness and inadequate lighting in room. Do not prefer to stay as it is also far from Golden temple, you have to pay extra to and from temple. Free breakfast service also poor as they do not have their own kitchen, they provide only room service for food also it took 30+ minutes to deliver food in room, so you can not enjoy food in relaxed as no seating in room, you have to take breakfast and lunch/dinner on bed. Do not recommend to stay here as no cleanness in rooms and also not fresh.

Hotel Pegaam is situated near to railway Station. Rooms are neat and clean. Linens were also very clean. Staff was very cooperative and knowledgeable. Food was tasty in their restaurant. My stay was very comfortable. All tourist places were nearer and we got transport very easily.

Rooms are average with beds linen and towels not washed properly, bathrooms are not hygienic with broken taps and stains on the wall and floors. Hotel has a restaurant however the prices are quite high compared to outside hotel charges and food taste is not that great. Stay only for a day or two and order the food from outside. In the winters, heaters are charged separately.

Hotel is very good and clean, staff is very helpful.

Room was smelling with smoking and alcoholic smell

Booked for double but room seems to be of single occupancy as one chair, one glass, one blanket etc were available in room. I don't know whether it is ok or not w. Are. To. Booking. But, otherwise, Hotel is good with good staff. Also, Google map provided with booking is not accurate, needed to be corrected.

Near railway station, rickshaw took Rs 40.
