My husband and i stayed in himalayan holidays for 2 nights during our trek to valley of flowers. Since we were travel-ling solo (not in any group), we booked the hotel. The hotel has basic clean room and bathroom. Do not expect any stars as you may not find any in ghangharia. But considering the trekking we went for, we surely needed good food and that was the best part at this hotel. They customise dishes according to your taste ( aaloo puri, poha, soups, pav bhaji etc are awesome. There is a challenge with electricity and you need to be prepared for the same. It’s a pleasant stay as long as you know it’s a remote destination. One last thing, carry a hair dryer if you can. If your clothes or shoes get wet (the probability of which is very high during monsoon treks, you will need it more than anything else.
