I had a highly unsatisfactory experience at this homestay. Here are the major issues I encountered:
- The place was in a state of disrepair with **a strong unpleasant odor** throughout.
- Basic cleanliness was completely overlooked. The house was infested with **bugs**, making the stay uncomfortable and unhygienic.
- There was no provision for **drinking water**, which is an essential amenity.
- **Windows lacked curtains**, compromising privacy.
- The overall maintenance was extremely poor, and it seemed no effort was made to renovate or prepare the property before listing it as a homestay.
- Despite these shortcomings, the pricing was **unreasonably high**, which made the experience even more frustrating.
I strongly recommend that the hosts address these issues immediately—ensuring basic amenities like clean and hygienic spaces, curtains for privacy, provision of drinking water, and pest control—before accepting bookings. For the price charged, guests deserve much better standards.
