Our recent stay at Mountain Shadows resort was truly exceptional, leaving us with memories we'll cherish! Right from the moment we arrived, their welcoming gesture was simply awesome – a truly heartwarming start to our vacation, set against a perfect location. The entire experience was seamless, thanks to the impeccable service and stunning facilities. Our room was not just comfortable but beautifully appointed, offering breathtaking views. We even witnessed all types of weather, which added a unique charm to our stay. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond, always with a genuine smile and a proactive approach, making us feel incredibly valued. The food was simply delicious, and the complementary evening teas and breakfast were also awesome. What truly elevated our experience to unforgettable, however, was something unexpected after we checked out. We realized later that I had accidentally left a dress behind in the room. Before we even had a chance to call, the resort team, without any prompting, surprised us by couriering it directly to our home! And what's more, they did so without taking any extra charges. We were genuinely touched by their incredible thoughtfulness and integrity. This gesture perfectly encapsulated their commitment to guest satisfaction. Mountain shadows isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience of unparalleled hospitality and genuine care. We are so incredibly impressed and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly remarkable getaway.

It’s one of the most serene and well-curated resorts I’ve experienced in Kerala. The location is simply stunning surrounded by the Banasura Sagar reservoir and framed by lush green hills, Once inside, the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty are instantly calming. The villas are beautifully designed, offering panoramic views of the reservoir, waking up to the sight of mist rolling over the water and mountains was magical. Privacy is well-maintained. The in-room amenities are high quality and the overall upkeep was excellent. The restaurant offers a mix of traditional Kerala cuisine, Indian and continental options. The quality of ingredients and taste were consistently good, though the menu could benefit from a bit more variety for longer stays. The service was outstanding. Every staff member we interacted with was courteous, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Overall an excellent place for vacation.

My wife and i spent two glorious nights at mountain shadows. Dike had called the previous day to welcome us and give directions. She had warned us that the last 2-3 km was through forest road and that we had to take care. A pleasant and welcome gesture. We were taken to reception and then to our room by the ever present buggy drivers who were so helpful and pleasant. We had a gorgeous view of the lake from our balcony. The room was large and comfortable. We lazed around, took some wonderful pictures of birds, watched sunrise and moon rise reflected in the waters to our hearts’content and woke up to the twitter of birds. Midhula, the naturalist was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we learn t more about birds and insects than we had done before. It was a most enjoyable serene and tranquil holiday - something we would like to to repeat with the whole family some day.

We had an amazing time here, the staff was amazing and the views at every corner was a breathtaking frame with mountains & the Banasurasagar reservoir... The room was big and had great views(balcony).. Food was great but a bit on the pricier side(average 600-700 INR per item), and there is no option to have any other food because the resort is located in a remote area and going out for anything is a hassle (especially because of the long off road ) , but you wouldn't want to leave the comfort of this resort anyway untill checkout.

This place is worth the drive (even through the last stretch of 2-3 km is really painful). The hospitality, food and scenic beauty are top notch. Special thanks to the naturalist, Mr. Kiran for the nature’s trip. He was very courteous, responsive and showed us endemic birds and insects of the place. A must visit! Also, thanks to Sajini, our host during our stay. She was also highly responsive and took really good care of us. Kudos to Moutain Shadow team 👏🏼

Simply superb! it was really an out of the world experience. Having done enough research, i had very high expectations on the property and it turned out to be better than what i expected. Will come back here for sure and for longer stays. Thank you very much for an amazing experience.

Stay at mountain shadows was very good, we enjoyed the food, amenities such as cycling, indoor and outdoor games. The main attraction was the view of both the mountain and the lake which was very nice and peaceful. Definitely recommend visiting

My stay at Mountain Shadow Wayanad with my family was memorable. The property and the location were wonderful, the staff was courteous, rooms were clean and amenities were up to mark. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Tranquil waters, a view to die for, amazing ambience, sweet, friendly staff, incredible food and what a property! Bit expensive but worth every rupee! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is looking for a memorable stay in Wayanad

Good mountain around with stunning dam view, better than any foreign countries. Violin play was very nice during dinner, swimming pool is placed in right spot. Rooms are large.
