Glyngarth Resort (10km Away from Ooty)

We had a wonderful stay at Glyngarth resort. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to extraordinary service and a beautiful landscape. Rooms - spacious and clean. Food - tasty and of variety Staff - I must say they are super friendly, attentive and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.thx. I would love to visit this place again and again. One thing is sure whenever I visit ooty, I know where to stay. Thank you Glyngarth team.

Location is good, need some route guidance board to be put in more visible way at key points of the road, amenities given are fair can be improvised, food quality and taste is good. One important thing most of the rooms don't have windows and wherever windows given are without mesh and being non ac rooms windows with mesh is a must, this correction need to be made as summer stays may be suffocating. With no fresh air and only with fan.

Hospitality and the ambience of the property was excellent but as per the premium luxury room claims was not upto the mark the jacuzzi was not working properly or rather malfunctioning, as the weather was chilly expected warm water would be there in the pool so couldn’t enjoy the pool at all which was our another attraction for this property ..overall everything surpassed with the breathtaking views 😊

Exceptional view and good service from the staff. Kamal at front office was very friendly and helpful. Following up to direct the route to destination was very useful.

Wonderful stay option surrounded by cloudy mountains. The mountain view room was worth the extra money. The view was stunning. Food was average. But property was very well maintained.

The place is amazing, with breath taking views. The buffet wasn't that great, but ordering food was an amazing experience.

Pros. Located in a calm and quit place away from ooty. Resort is well maintained. Beautiful views from resort. Cons. Approach road especially the last 900 m is mud road. Travel-ling to the resort during night hours from ooty is scary as it's located in an isolated place. Choose to reach the resort during day time itself. Wardrobes were not available in room. Hence only option was to keep the luggage on the floor.

Staying at this property was like a fairy tale stay, it's located amidst deep forests of Nilgiris, however you get all the services like a 4 star hotel, they are customer focussed and make sure their guests face no issues while they stay here, courteous staff and decent breakfast and dinner spread. special mention to Mr Rohit and Mr. Kamal

I recently had a fantastic stay at glyngarth. The room was impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the mountains. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. I also enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Overall it's pricy compare to others but this hotel exceeded my expectations and provided a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had our check in time at 2pm. But my room was ready only at 4. 30 pm. But the next day they called at 11. 30am to remind about the check out. Will never visit again! the room service and other working staff were good.

The view was breathtaking… we enjoyed a lot …. The hospitality of the staff is excellent …. The way they communicate is good making us feel like home …awaiting to visit back soon….

The property is located in an excellent location surrounded by the hills. We had taken hill view room and it was a great accommodation. The food was amazing and the service was amiable. The staff took care from the time we booked till we checked out.
