A pleasant stay

Ghangri homestay provided us a few days of pleasant stay with the warmth and hospitality of the ever-smiling host and hostess. They were quick to respond to any request we made. The rooms are large and well appointed, however it was disappointing that there were no cupboards. Also, despite the listed amenities, there was no wifi nor tv. A big plus point was the constant supply of hot water in the washroom; of course, when the electricity was there. The hosts were kind enough to present us with some much-appreciated vegetables from their organic garden at the time of checkout. Location-wise the homestay was very easy to find as it is right on the main road. For a few days stay it was worth the price we paid.

We were in north bengali for last 14 days and stayed at many Ghangri Sherpa Luxury Homestay and homestay but this the best among them. The property is so clean and nicely maintained that you can not complain about it. The rooms are exactly the way they were picturized in the photos. Foods are really good and we all know the honesty of the people from uphill. The sherpaji and his wife took care of everything we requested for from room heater to hot water. In a single sentence the experience is awesome. You can chill at this place just a few kilometers away from conjusted darjeeling but easily access the downtown. It was an awesome experience staying at this homestay.

Sherpa ji and his wife is such a nice person, their warm hospitality pleased us a lot, everything was so perfect, specially food n cleanliness. If i go to visit charakpur again ill stay in the same homestay again.
