This is my 2nd visit to puthuthotam annexe and we friends really enjoyed the stay and the climate was very chill . Particularly this puthuthotam annexe is inside forest, so no air pollution, sound pollution, fresh air, and beautiful sounds of birds rooms were neat and clean, food was excellent just like home food, and the staff were very kind and has a very good attitude, this makes us to come again and again hope to visit this place again during winter.

The bungalow is well maintained and is at a scenic location, surrounded by tea estates. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I really appreciate the good service by the hosts. The food was delicious and homely. The food is moderately priced except the buffet lunch.

As we arrived the home-stay, we were not offered room; had to pay rent once again, as they told that they have no information from MMT. We paid rent (actually more than what we paid to MMT) and occupied room, as there was no other way. I have already lodged complaint with you under ID 160214-034699 and requested for refund of rent paid to MMT. The place is good, especially the drive from Pollachi to Valparai, with 40 hairpin curves plus charm of the tea gardens. Food is the worst; there are very few decent restaurants in the town, especially if you are a vegetarian.

To begin with, the said resort is not situated in Valparai, but 22 km ahead at Sholayar. There was no sign board for directions and had to reach with the help of local people. Even there is no name board any where to say that's Deepika's Garden Resort. The entire property would be 2000 sqft. This could be in the class of a home stay and not a resort. Had called the below given number on arrival and talked to Deepesh from Makemytrip. He promised within one hour there would be a call back, but never happened. Later had to check-in as there was no other alternative in the jungle. After few hours came to know that there is another booking by a family for the same rooms through makemytrip and our payment for the hotel has not been accounted for. The manager had to call up your office and clarify for the same. When requested for bath towels we were told to pay Rs. 50/- for each. Have never stayed in a hotel where bath towels and toiletries are not provided. Have made several bookings through makemytrip but have never gone through such horrific experience with my family.
