Excellent Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Sirukundra Bungalow. The location is excellent, nestled in serene surroundings with a very pleasant climate—even during the summer. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We arrived after 3 PM, quite hungry, and they graciously arranged food for us without any hesitation. The meals throughout our stay were top-notch. The bungalow itself, built in 1917 by the British, is in very good condition and exudes a charming old-world feel. The premises were well-maintained and spotless. While we didn’t try the morning safari (priced at around Rs. 2200 per person), it's a good option for nature enthusiasts. Do note that due to forest department regulations and potential wildlife encounters, you're not allowed to leave the gate after 6 PM. Overall, it was a very good stay—peaceful, comfortable, and truly memorable.

Location was awesome and the property is well maintained with garden's we stayed in tent and well maintained. Food is complementary and it's was good. Staffs are so kind. Due to rain, the floor is always wet. You won't mobile signal and wifi also weak. you ll get signal in the main area and no tv in the property which are slight disadvantage there is wooden room stay and bunglow stay also available overall the stay was good.

Stayed in sirukundra bungalow long back and wanted to visit the place again. So chose the wooden chalet. Great location & good food. You can choose buffet (slightly expensive) or prefer ala carte at a very decent rate.

Property location and food is good. Hygiene and saftey are poor.

Location is in a tea estate and it's very nice. Food is also good but the items available are limited. Saftey and hygiene is very poor. Tent is full of ants everywhere. Even unable to stand on the floor and yhe bed is also full of ants and unable to sleep whole night. There is no wifi signal at all.

If you want a peaceful and happy stay then you can definitely choose this place. I found the staff here excellent. When i got a medicine requirement, even though it was raining, he rode a bike for 9 km without being asked and bought the medicine.

3. The mattress was very stiff. Though the location and the property was beautiful, we were let down by bad mattresses. It almost gave my parents a back ache. The shower door was missing in one of the rooms which made the floor wet in the toilet. It should have been fixed. The food was great - shout out to the chef. The presentation of the food was amazing! it looked and tasted yummy. Overall it was a good cottage. Could have been better if the mattress was comfortable.
